Courtyard by Marriott Rye

The room was very nice, recently renovated, tasteful, clean, and quiet. The staff at the reception were very courteous. And it was very convenient to the train station and highway.

The hotel is undergoing extensive renovation so the usual entrance was closed off, which was a little confusing for taxi drivers. It was also a little confusing getting around inside since some sections were closed off; the signage could've been clearer. But it should be very nice once the renovation is complete.

missing outdoor furniture . Every time I’ve been there they say it’s coming they’re redoing the patio etc. What I don’t understand is why don’t they put the old furniture out there until they redo the patio. It was a lovely day when I was there and I really wanted to sit out side in the sun on furniture on the patio.

People working are nice. Good access to the parking lot because there are a few doors and can choose closest door. Could you use microwave. Overall enjoyed our stay at Marriott.

Bed sheets are not so clean. Main elevator was out of service so we choose sub elevator which was ok.

Location was convenient. All the staff was very friendly. Very clean Hotel. We stayed 4 days and three nights because we went to Rye Playland everyday

We were disappointed the pool was closed. We didn't eat at The Bistro in the hotel we wanted more options of food. We found many restaurants in the area especially a Japanese hibachi restaurant. Rooms a bit small

I cannot give enough praise to the staff at the Marriott! They went above in beyond during a black-out crisis that derailed our daughter & son-in-law's wedding reception, which ended up being suddenly moved to the hotel. The staff was quick to accommodate us and our guests. And in the morning had the business room all set and ready for our catered breakfast. Even allowed us to store the wedding cake in the freezer for the cutting during the breakfast event. The Marriott has a very well-trained staff that was quick to make decisions and roll with the changes.

Check in and check out was a breeze. Both processes took no more than 1 minute. The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Definitely felt like a home away from home. Very close to where we were coming from. The whitby castle was 8 minutes away where we attended a wedding there.

The place is within walking distance (~15-20 min) of both the train station and Capitol theater. The room is super comfy, clean, spacious, adequately furnished - loved all of that.

Compared to the price, they don't even offer free breakfast in the morning - that's a bummer! There was a bottle of water in the room with price tag of 6$! You could purchase snacks from hotel lobey. There are many foodshops around the area.

It was nice, and the TV worked.

The cost of the room was about three times what it should be for a suburban Marriott Courtyard. I never would have paid that if I didn't have a meeting there. There was no option. It is a very nice select service hotel, but the price was outrageous!

Weekend cost.

The room was great!! However it was extremely difficult to use the Room key. We had to call the front desk! We could not access the fitness center with our room key!
