Tru By Hilton Binghamton Vestal

The hotel was very clean and well kept. The color scheme and furniture were fun. There was a pool table and the lobby was inviting and warm. The location was great and there was a lot to do around the area. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. We also enjoyed the gym.

The only problem we had was that the bed sheet had a drop of blood on it as we pulled back the comforter. The front desk was happy to help get us new sheets but the cleaning staff was gone so we had to change them ourselves. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was good. Location was convenient. A little higher price than expected. Staff was friendly. Lobby decor and layout was welcoming and convenient.

Hallways were not well vacuumed. When one area has visibly ot been properly cleaned, it makes you wonder if the rest is truly clean.

I was not told that they charge a $50 deposit for incidentals. I’m toled they refund it if not used but it’s important to know this when you check in. Also, the breakfast bar was disappointing because the pancake machine was broken as was half of the toasters. Made for a long wait to get your bagel toasted.

Conveniently located near Binghamton University, and shops like Target and Walmart. Facilities were clean and modern.

I stayed in a room on the first floor and it was a little noisy at times

Difficult getting in and out of the parking lot. Could hear people walking around upstairs throughout the night, not that that is the hotels fault.

From the cheerful sayings on the door to the pleasant staff, clean comfortable room with great shower, to the hot breakfast, staying at Tru hotels is simply a pleasure.

Price is a bit high

The receptionist Megan was very professional and provided an excellent customer service. I have told her general manager about her amazing customer service. I will be back because of her as she was beyond expectations.

slightly pricey. travel nurse been staying here over a month. asked for discount and was told they were unable to do so. seems odd that they want to lose guaranteed business from February- august

Love the modern decor and the feel of the hotel. Staff is friendly and room is clean. Haven’t had a bad stay at tru in other cities as well

Would love a rewards point or discount after multiple stays

I really liked the pool table. Was very happy to have something to do in the lobby with my son during the stay! I was impressed that the room clock adjusted automatically with the time change! Bed was comfortable, room clean and temperature comfortable.

I found the lighting in the room to be too low at times. I would have liked the option to have brighter light when I need it. I traveled for pleasure, I believe that if I had to work in my room, the desk would have been inadequate.
