I enjoyed my overnight stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Binghamton. The hotel service desk clerk was friendly and hospitable. She even gave me a complimentary treat. The hotel interior look is very modern. The room was very clean, comfortable, looking every bit like the photos they advertised of the hotel rooms. I was very pleased with the room.

I would not necessarily call it an issue but I believe DoubleTree by Hilton could do without the courtesy check-in on hotel guests to see what time they're checking out. I was already in the process of getting my belongings together when I got a knock on the door in the morning by hotel staff to inquire what time I'm leaving the room. I told her I will be checking out ahead of schedule. I was perturbed by the unannounced check-in but I'm pretty sure most hotel guests know their check-out time. I find this to be completely unnecessary and a waste of time for staff when their focus should be elsewhere. That's just my two cents.

It was only one night on my way to Canada. It was last minute to book, i made a mistake during my booking and the lady in the morning shift helped me and fix it. Thanks to her , unfortunately i don't know her name. Also the lady in the breakfast was so helpful

The staff especially at the front desk was very considerate and always at my service to help me and I had my son and my two granddaughters with me

That I had to leave we had a wonderful time there thank you for the hospitality the professionalism and the politeness that you gave me and my family

I loved how clean it was, beautiful presentation. House keeping does a amazing job

It was really hard to do my makeup the lighting was off. The light was really dimm in the entrance where the mirror was The light in the bathroom was too bright. I recommend a different bulb for the room entrance

Nice hotel in a not so nice neighborhood, but, to be fair, urban renewal is taking place. Cannot comment on restaurant as I did not use. Front desk friendly and efficient

Bathroom sink not properly cleaned under lip. Toilet was not working properly, but maintenance quickly repaired it.

Everything else was ok

Bistro staff was rude. I spent almost $200 on drinks last night at the Bistro. Food menu wasn't appealing and breakfast was pretty bland that morning, so we ordered pizza. Waitress came over and told us we can't eat outside food. I was unaware since there was no notation of that rule anywhere. She demanded that we take the food away. I paid for my bill and was leaving when the staff at the bar stated, "Bye Felicia!" I will never spend another dime at your Bistro.

the layout was simple and it was easy to find things in the building. it was conventionally located with respect to the restaurant district

the building was undergoing construction which always takes something away from an experience

Location near the Theatre was great. Rooms were very nice and clean.

For the price of the room the buffet or breakfast should have been complementary. Coffee was just ok Dinner was pretty good, dining room was cold.

centrally located for the Binghamton area, very comfortable rooms, entire hotel very clean, great bar, friendly front desk and housekeeping staff

the pool was closed for maintenance, gym staff member was rude

The room was very comfy.

The bar/restaurant was very noisy with the weekend crowd. Some sound damping would help. Having to walk outside to get to the pool... not ideal in upstate ny. Even the underground trek to that facility was inconvenient.
