The bed was SO comfortable and the room was exceptionally spacious. The cleaning team kept our room very clean. Love that ALL the old carpet has been removed and replaced with tile-wood floors.

The pillows weren't the most comfortable, but..... We encountered a LOT of unsavory people around the hotel and on the way to the hospital. It was unsettling, especially when I had to leave my husband at the hospital and walk by myself in the dark to get the car under the hotel.

This is great value for its location and the quality of the facility. It is a bare bones hotel lodging for folks getting treatments at the surrounding medical facilities. There are no carpets, which is great for people with allergies, and because they assume guests might be traveling with medical conditions they ask that quiet time be honored starting at 10pm. So it is a perfect setting for work and rest.

I wish there were more eating options within walking distance, but that's not the hotel's fault.

rooms have always been clean, up to date, and spacious. I like that it is right across the street from the hospital, which is always the purpose of our stay. i appreciate being allowed to keep my car parked with the hotel even after check out.

the parking is definitely very tight, not necessarily suv friendly, but is doable. other than that, my only complaint was the shower in my room “sloped”, was not flat which made it hard to keep my footing and cause me to lose my balance a few times. the curtain also stuck to your body, it somehow hung too far into the shower and was almost impossible not to keep making contact with it.

Exceptionally clean accommodations which I would compare to hospital-grade cleanliness. I love that the floors are not carpet but instead are laminated hardwood. This hotel is 1 block from the hospital, and has free parking for 1 vehicle. The room had a nice refrigerator and microwave for those who are there to stay because of a loved one who is inpatient at Duke. Will definitely stay there again.

Giving the fact that many who may stay there could have disabilities or have spent all day in the hospital, at check-in instead of requiring another walk back to the vehicle to put a parking pass in the dash (after) checking in- why not put space on form at check-in to put state & license plate information. This would eliminate a walk back to the vehicle after so much walking.

This hotel is immaculate, the staff were very friendly. I love how you're a ten minute walk to Duke Building, or, take their free shuttle and it's a 3 minute ride. They make you feel valued too because you're given a parking pass and those without one get towed. Ample parking too! I'll be back again and again for future appointments.

My only complaint is the bathroom door goes into the small bathroom making it a very tight squeeze.

Upon check-in, the front desk knew we had prepaid our room and was efficient and polite. The room and bathroom were clean. Liked the fact that there wasn't a carpet and we were on the top floor. Location was good and the hotel is very basic in amenities. We asked for a suggestion from the same clerk that checked us in for a place to get a hot breakfast. The place he recommended hit the spot before our drive home.

It's close to the hospital , which is a short walking distance and I like the fact that it has a washing machine and Dryer for guests to do their laundry.

I don't like the fact that this nice hotel does not have a restaurant, which is disappointing and deceiving to guests because the Lounge is the first thing people saw when they walked in with lots of tables and chairs set up, but they don't have a restaurant . The bathroom is extremely small for a large Studio Suite, which makes it difficult for me to walk inside the bathroom without my body hitting the door or tripping over the bathtub because the space to even stand there is so tiny.

Great location for Duke University, good quality/price. The shuttle service is really useful as well and there is free coffee.

There is one receptionist (mostly evenings, at least Monday and Friday) really rude and unwilling to help. They didn't want to give us an invoice. It would be great to have more breakfast options/deals. The room was quite spacious, but I would be missing some desk (specially being a "universtiy" Inn) and a wardrobe.

Roim was very spacious and bed was comfortable. Exceptionally clean. Walking distance to Dike clinic. Mini store and room has microwave, refrigerator/freezer. Staff was very friendly. If needed, we will return in the future.

Condensation on bathroom ceiling after showering. Improvements to ventilation should be considered.

I stayed here 7 years ago. I liked it well enough to return. Comfortable beds, clean modern bathroom, easy to adjust heat and AC, TV, WIFI, refrigerator w/freezer, microwave. They totally redid the rooms , modern up-to-date decor. Absolutely no complaints.
