Oceanfront view - we left the balcony door open the entire trip to hear the waves crashing and to feel the sea breeze. My best visit to any beach by far! Great hotel, clean, quiet, perfect location. Everything was exactly what you needed for a great stay, with no complications or fussiness of a large hotel. Rustic tile floors were a bonus, felt nice under foot and handled sand issues well. Also, if you are big on linens that feel quality, sheets were very cool and comfy too. Surprisingly so. Matter of fact, I’d love to have a set at home LOL. Nice summer comforter too…. I’ll def be back!

Only 1 elevator. Lots of stairs. Not a big deal or dealbreaker for us, but slightly annoying in bad weather. This could be a big deal for those with mobility issues. Breakfast could have been a bit more hearty. I am allergic to all dairy and eggs so was limited to a danish or plain waffle, as butters are a no go and cereals required milk and any yogurt options are out too. Would be happy to pay a fee for a breakfast buffet selection with Oat milk/plant butters or maybe sausage / biscuits. Would be very willing to pay extra for whatever options might be available. Regardless - happy to have the hot coffee, food and nice service of your folks at the desk and breakfast room, as they were all top notch folks. 😀

Everything...the property is super clean and super friendly. Love the beach and the pool. The breakfast is a wonderful plus!!!

Everything was wonderful but I do wish they had someone help with your bags, coming and going. I would pay for that luxury. I heard other visitors say the same thing. In my case, a friend and I came. We are both in our 50's, after driving it's really hard to unload all your things. If you all could incorporate that feature, it would be a God send.

The breakfast was very good. Having a balcony to look out over the ocean was wonderful. The room seemed very quiet. I loved being able to soak my feet in the indoor whirlpool after being out walking all day.

The bathroom seemed a bit small. The shower was slippery as there was no bathmat. However we put a towel in it. I was disappointed that our beds weren’t made when we had maid service.

Just book this place, trust me. Such a cute place, right on the beach, which was incredibly quiet when we visited (end of February). Clean, spacious room. Very helpful staff and great value for money, exactly what we were looking for. The city of Ocean Isle was quaint and we loved it.

The walls between rooms seemed very thin. However, with AC blowing, it wasn’t too bad. If you get there early, make sure to call to check if your room is ready!

The staff was exceptional. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There had been many upgrades and the shower was exceptional.

The walls were thin and noise was a problem when trying to sleep. The outdoor pool was closed, which I understood, but not allowing renters to sit by the pool to enjoy the 80 degree weather on Friday was a disappointment.

The room was very nice with comfy beds. Typical hotel type room. Facility has larger dorm size refrigerator with a microwave in room also. Hair dryer was provided. View was spectacular! We actually saw 7 deer grazing from our balcony, right on the beach! As far as distance to the beach, it is literally steps. Facilities were clean. Location was quiet and felt safe.

You have to walk up stairs unless you take a centrally located elevator. If you choose the elevator but your room is on an end unit, you will still have to walk through each building to get to your own room. Wasn't too much of a bother for us, but I can see where someone who had difficulty navigating could have an issue. I was grateful for the breakfast option being included in our stay, but that being said, it was less than desirable. We enjoyed making a waffle the first morning but didn't go back. Coffee was not the greatest. Some of the front desk staff weren't very friendly. I just found that odd that I am paying to stay, but I felt like I was an inconvenience each time I interacted with staff.

staff was amazing and it was right on the beach. during check out, I asked to stay an extra 30 mins and they allowed me. I got back to the room to find the cleaning crew has already started and threw some stuff I had in the fridge that I was planning to keep away. I discussed with the front desk and they comped me for the night with no fuss at all. very impressive and quick response to a minor communication issue on their end. very impressed

Great location, right on the beach and convenient to anything on the island. Walking distance from multiple restaurants and shops. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, but there’s a nice coffee shop nearby for my fellow coffee snobs (uh… enthusiasts?) All the staff were very pleasant. Front desk staff were helpful and had a great sense of humor.

If I had a critique, it would be the property could use a little updating. The showers could use a deep clean, and the indoor pool area (the pool itself was spotless) could use some TLC. All told, the critiques are minor and are to be expected in properties, especially post-season.

Just a Few steps to the beach. Clean simple room. Nice rocking chairs and balcony. Nice new bathroom with fluffy towels. Breakfast was ok, good selection for continental. No problem with parking spaces/ area. Had a relaxing and quiet few days. Beds were comfortable, a little high. I'm 5 '10" and it was a bit high for me. Nice place overall.

Need a small ramp or open area to load vehicle from office area.

Breakfast was a big disappointment. We have stayed here about 5 or 6 times and breakfast was always just basic. Now, with he hotel fully booked, even the basic weren’t really available. We came down just before 9 o’clock and most of the food was gone. No more breakfast biscuits, no fresh fruits, just waffles or bread with jelly.

Breakfast choices were very limited, if even available.
