Hampton Inn Harbourgate

The breakfast was good although I had to complain at the fest about the person was burning the cheese omelets and I had to mention the the female in the kitchen was loud and banging things. She was unapproachable. We stayed in room 404 for 4 days and that room should have 2 chairs.

The pool was cold not only the pool but the room itself was cold I did talk to the desk and the next day was better. I did my homework before going on the different rooms you have. I did notice a room not to far from me I think it was 414 it was a separate bedroom and living space I really did like that room and went to the desk to inquire and was told that it is a random pick and that’s all. She had no answer when I asked her why wasn’t this suite on your site. I was upset about the coffee was to strong every day and I was told by the help to just add water. You really need to change coffee companies

It was in a perfect location for the reason I was there, very nice facilities, very nice room. Staff was very friendly.

The only thing that’s up to us that we weren’t happy about, was the breakfast choices… Usually you expect bacon eggs sausage biscuits gravy etc.… Instead they were just microwavable sandwiches and a minor selection of other items. Not that we booked there because of the breakfast options , but it should’ve stated that options were limited. We are normally not people to complain about anything, this is really not a complaint per se, just may be a suggestion to let others know the options for breakfast or limited not to expect much

Everything was great our room was nice and clean and staff was amazing! The halls were nice and quiet and when we needed extra rags and towels staff got them to us asap breakfast was really tasty. The location was amazing everything was right around our hotel my family will for sure visit this location again. Thank you for such a great stay!

There was nothing we didn't like everything was great! We were always greeted and asked if we needed anything, our room was huge and we appreciate everything being clean and comfortable. You won't be disappointed staying here its such a great place.

Like the wood furniture located in the room and the bedding!

Cut back on the amount of wood items in the room!

Jeannie the front desk lady is a real gem. We hit it off great as soon as we checked in sharing stories of our favorite places to eat and dance in North Myrtle Beach. She is a real asset to your business. The other ladies were very sweet as well but for some reason Jeannie and I clicked. The hotel was very nicely decorated and the breakfast was better than expected. All said, we definitely would recommend this hotel.

The location was perfect to all the places we needed to go. The beds we comfortable!

The lobby was very loud while checking in due to the large fans that were being used to dry a leak in the ceiling where parts of the ceiling were missing. This made it very difficult to hear the receptionist as she informed us about the facilities and such. The lobby entrance was blocked due to painters and was inconvenient. Our room had a very musty odor .

THE STAFF WAS SO VERY NICE AND ACCOMADATING. AND LOCATION WAS GREAT

I DIDN'T LIKE THE FACT THAT MY BED HAD ANTS IN IT. THE BATHROOM WAS OKAY BUT NOT EXTREMELY CLEAN, I FOUND A SMALL LIQUOR BOTTLE IN THE DRAWER OF MY DRESSER WHICH I GUESS HOUSEKEEPING MISSED.

I truly liked the size of the room and the way it was organized. The shower with an upper shower head and a mid shower head were excellent.

The tub did not drain properly. It took a while. When my wife finished her shower, I had to wait a while before I could take mine. I informed Management about it. My room # was 312. I also did not like hearing children for a good portion of the night. I am a Senior Citizen and I am more than tolerable of others, but I also think that the Front Desk, as they are placing occupants need to be aware of those families with children and those without. Especially Seniors. Also, did not like not receiving points for my stay since I used a 3rd party for my reservations.

Very clean rooms and bathrooms...the complimentary hot breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff, always smiling.

Nothing much to dislike but, if anything we would have loved to have an extra chair or two in the room. Our room had an office desk and a chair.

The indoor pool was nice on the day it rained. The lounge downstairs is nice. We visited with family in the common area. The wifi there is pretty good. The rooms were very clean. So glad that I found this place. I'll definitely stay here again.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Centrally located to Restaurants and a short drive to Cherry Grove Beach. So happy about my experience. We had a great time there in NMB.
