The day we left to go down to MB, as we were leaving the house I received a voice message that stated the elevators were down for repair, and our room was located on the 3rd floor. Our options were to cancel and book at another hotel, with no cancelation fees, of course or to select a room, if a available on the 1st or 2nd floor. We rarely getaway, so when we originally got the phone call, my husband was like, maybe this is a sign and we should just cancel :) so glad we did not. This is our 3rd time staying at this particular LaQuinta Inn and we are never disappointed. At this point, it was too late to find another hotel, as there was 2 events that weekend at MB, so I asked if they had a King size bed on the 1st floor. They DID!! This room could not have been or probably would not have been better than our first chosen room. It was CLEAN! It had a King and queen bed! Plus all the little amenities the rooms have. The shower AMAZING! Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. It was close to the FREE coffee bar in the morning, big plus!! The staff is really friendly and helpful at check in, the location is quiet because it is not on the main road but is actually located behind another hotel. Ohhh and the AC unit was not noisy, I sleep with earplugs but my husband was not bothered at all because it was a normal quite AC hum. We have eaten the continental breakfast in the past, and it is quite good and adequate. They offer lots of snacks and pizza delivery as eats and drinks to purchase for convenience. They also have a beautiful lobby. We do not spend a lot of time in the room, so saying that, for the price, the type of room, the amenities, the cleanliness and location, we were very happy. We will book again.

The floor felt damp or humid. Not a huge deal or a deal breaker. (The fact that the floor are not carpet are a win)

The Staff member who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. He is definitely your perfect employee for guest check in. Very kind and helpful. Our King room was very spacious and clean. Was conveniently located to lots of shops and just a couple miles to the beach. Good location to nice restaurants as well.

The bed was horrible. The mattress was uncomfortable and felt and looked like it was just a elevated cot. And had a weird popping noise when you turned over. Breakfast was not good. At 8am food was picked over with no replenishing. Had to eat breakfast out each morning.

I love how everything is rite there all day coffee in the lobby hotel is quiet and relaxing me and my family enjoyed our stay we will definitely be back for round 3 in June 🏖️

it needs an indoor pool and another elevator over all it’s a cozy hotel for me my family and our little fur baby thanks for the stay!

Claudia who checked me in upon arriving was pleasant and made my last minute booking with the hotel as easy as possible. She always had a smile and pleasant attitude whenever I saw her for the rest of my stay.

The fact the hotel only has one elevator which got overcrowded often and that the staff would have to load their work carts/big bins on there with you.

It's a nice location. The staff was phoenominal. Great breakfast! Waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, and pastries!!! Lots of rables available. For those traveling with dogs there's a residential development behind the hotel to walk your pup.

A bit overpriced for the off-season.

I love the location because it was near local restaurants and shopping centers and close to the Big M Cruise Ship. That was the main reason why I wanted a hotel close by.

The hotel needed some upgrades or finish their upgrades. Other than that it was ok.

the room was large and just as promised

we didn’t stay there much as we were there to visit friends elsewhere but were a little concerned by the group that camped out of their truck in the parking lot the couple of days we were there. they did not bother us in any way but it was a little concerning

The staff was amazing. They where always there to help and make sure your stay is comfortable.

The only thing my wife had an issue with was the door on the side of the hotel would not lock so you don’t have to have a key to open it.

Very clean and comfortable. Few updates needed in room...nice location, nice pool. Very clean! The breakfast was great, only thing, Waffle Maker was not used or available. Staff was very friendly and helpful. When we needed something they provided. Thank you
