Lodging on the Square

We have stayed here before so we were expecting the same service. Unfortunately it was not. Be aware that you have to drive to a different hotel to check in and also for free breakfast. If we had known this, we would have stayed elsewhere. There was no one at all in the Lobby, you could only access with your key to get ice and pop. It was clean and comfortable but somewhat eerie knowing there was no one there if you needed help. I know we could call 911 if there was a emergency. Our commode seat broke so we just had to deal with it that night.

No check-in on site and no breakfast on site.

The location was great. The parking area is kind of tight. but you cant beat the location if you're looking to walk to shops.

I wish there wasnt staffing shortages as we had to check in/check out and get breakfast at another location, but it was only a couple minutes up the road so it wasn't too bad. Wish they had a bigger fridge (we like to get local goodies to take home) , and wish there was a little night light by the bathroom area. We remembered to bring our own this time. That is being nit picky though, we love the place.

Location was perfect. Right on the main shops and restaurant road in Berlin. Facility was very clean. Room was comfortable and nice sized with two queen beds.

Check in at a different location a few blocks up the road. Young male who checked me in was all business and not very personable. The towels in the room are small and of poor quality, which was surprising given the nice bedding and furniture in the room.

love the location and it is always clean

we lost track of time and at exactly 11 am there is a knock at the door saying housekeeping. I went to the door and said we would be out in 10 minutes and got a glare and she walked away. we were out in 10 and they were pulling away. I found that very rude. we have stayed there for years and everyone always has been so nice. but this was totally an nasty end to our trip

The property is in an excellent location. The room was very clean and comfortable. We love where the ice machine is and you have to have a key card to get in there and to the breakfast. We loved everything about it. We will be staying there again. We stayed once before this stay and we loved it also. I think it was in August of last year.

This is our second time here, and it's perfect. Offers a nice light breakfast. Rooms are always clean, and the staff is so welcoming. I love the location as it's right there downtown. Walking distance to almost everything.

It's a little bit of an older place, but it has charm, it's in walking distance main strip and the beds were soooooooooo comfortable. This will be my new go-to place when I visit Berlin.

Due to staffing shortages, we had to check in at a different place just down the street, but even that wasn't so bad. Breakfast was at the hotel down the street too, but it was still included and very good.

The room was big enough to put 2 tables for scrapbooking. It was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do with having to move the car. There also was plenty of parking right near our room.

Breakfast was a down side. I was hoping for fresh eggs or bacon. Also breakfast being 2 blocks away wasn't convenient. That was really the only thing we didn't like.

I liked the fact that it was right down town. but was super nice that we could go back to the motel where we checked in at for their awesome continental breakfast.....the room was very spacious...the bed was super comfy overall...we enjoyed the stay

I went to get a pop from the machine and it was not working....but was not a horrible inconvenience

The room was exceptional and the cleanliness and comfort were amazing.

The coffee was subpar. I realize it is difficult to make a coffee freshly brewed for so many people but it was honestly not a good cup of coffee to start the day. There was no coffee in the room so the coffee downstairs was the only option included in the breakfast. It was a good breakfast but definitely not a good cup of coffee to start the day.
