Comfort Inn Independence

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast seating area was a little small but the variety of breakfast offerings were good. We also loved that we could walk about 100 feet and be at a restaurant for lunch that was really good.

The only thing that wasn't convenient was, there were no USB charging ports at all. We forgot to bring our phone charger box and had to go out and buy one. It also would have been nice to have had a mini fridge to keep our drinks cold but otherwise was a good stay.

Great location, tucked away on a hill perhaps a quarter mile from I-77 and I-480. My room was spacious and quiet--I never heard another guest while inside my room. I enjoyed the eggs and sausage for breakfast, and the pastries were good as well. I found the staff friendly and helpful. I didn't use the pool or the exercise room, so I can't comment on those. I would definitely recommend this hotel for others traveling alone.

3rd floor ice machine was empty the 2nd night of my stay.

It was ok for the fact Covid19 was still circulating. I thought there would be a hot breakfast like waffles oatmeal eggs. It was ok ,you could not see through the paper bags.

The bed a slept in was off balance the mattress. There was a large bump in the mattress. Which made me uneasy. Also the pool railing was coming loose, it needs to be tightened and fixed. They need to put 2 railings by the pool steps . Not one down the middle. I had a hard time trying to get out of the pool. Also had to transfer to a different room I needed a room with a shower not a tub. I had 2 knee replacements I cannot pick my legs over the tub.

I have been traveling back and forth from Cincinnati to Cleveland since Jan. I have only stayed here and not wanted to try anywhere else. The location is great going between hospitals. You get more than what you pay for in my opinion. The staff is accomodating and friendly. The rooms: the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are clean and quiet. The walls are not paper thin. The bathrooms with stand-up showers are big and nice. When I check in the towels are extremely clean and white (almost looks like they are brand new) I know because of covid we all have had to adjust ie: "hot breakfast" but they still put something out for breakfast. I highly recommended this hotel for anyone, especially if they are there for work and watching finances.

If they had a little workout room/gym area.

I liked that it was close to the highways. It was in a safe area. The hotel and the grounds were well kept. The staff were friendly. Restaurants were close by to the hotel.

Being an older hotel, it was a little musty.

It was great. The people working there were nice and friendly. The rooms were amazing. Had breakfast, the location was perfect. So many things close by in under 20 minutes. It was nice and I if I ever go back to that area again. I will be staying at the same hotel again! A+ in my book!

Stayed here 50 times over the last 40 years. Wonderful staff. Comfortable bed. Nice free breakfast. I stayed 5 nights & will be booking again next week. Great value for what you pay.

Fast and friendly check in! Clean quiet room with good temperature/furnace, nice shower, comfy bed and bedding! We were so pleased!!! We were visiting family in the area and Comfort Inn was an easy drive to all the fun in Cleveland! We will be back!!!

Everything was great!

Great location. Convenient check in. Large, clean room. Decent breakfast.

The stopper in the sink was stuck so water backed up with each use. The stairway smelled like someone had smoked in it, or just outside it.

The room was quite nice, spacious and accommodating. Everything was clean and well kept, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was more than enough to keep us cool. Didn't expect there to be a mini-fridge, but it was quite welcome. Staff were pleasant and accommodating.

The pool was closed, unfortunately. It would have been nice to go swimming.
