Hampton Inn Cincinnati Kings Island

The hotel is nestled in at the end of a "dead end" road, so leaving and coming to the hotel was very easy with a light at the intersection of the main road. It is also very close to Kings Island if that is your destination, as was ours. There are lots of places to eat by the hotel. The staff is very friendly and talk to you like a friend, with small talk and whatnot. While we did not utilize the pool, it looked very inviting. The breakfast was good. There was maple sausage for meat one day, and sausage patties the next with scrambled eggs as the "hot" dishes. Plus there was all the other stuff you can get with a continental breakfast.

The disinfectant bothered my allergies, but that's a "me" problem, lol. Make sure you have your "do not disturb" sign on your door if you don't want anyone entering. I did not, and the maintenance man tried to enter to check the tub for something. He did knock a few minutes before, but I did not answer because I didn't know him or was expecting anyone. But I threw caution to the wind and did open the door when he tried coming in, (Those bars on the doors do work, so always use them), and he just checked the drain to the tub. Something to do with a plugged tub somewhere.

Very nice hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom were clean. I really enjoyed my stay. The small snack shop had a good variety except no choices for quick breakfast if you missed the great breakfast included with the room.

In the room’s the garbage cans are too small and the plastic bags are even smaller.

I liked how quiet it was, there wasn’t a lot of people. I loved the breakfast! The staff was super kind! Our room was comfortable. & it was perfect for us because it was right across from kings island.

I didn’t like the fact it was $150 a night & the rooms looked nicer on the photos.. I didn’t like that room service forgot to remove the bathroom trash. Also I wish breakfast would’ve stayed open until 11/11:30ish. & the pool wasn’t open.

The property was in walking distance for several restaurants and a 2 min drive to Kings Island. And we didn’t have any noise coming thru the walls. If we are in area, we will be back. we stayed three nights and the breakfast was a little different every day. Im so sorry, I didn’t take any pictures. King size room had plenty of room and very clean Bathroom and Room. We were even helped in the computer Room. Thank you for a great stay!!

Nothing was wrong with it.

The man at the front desk was very kind and helpful. As we left and came back, he would ask how we like everything and how our day went. Our room was very clean. I like how the lights, even with all of them on, weren't super bright. Hot breakfast was offered & the maid staff was on top of ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, it was such a great stay that we already made another reservation for next weekend!

They don't really enforce their quiet policy as the people around our room were constantly loud and scream-laughing in the hallway, morning and night.

I love the location of this hotel. It is very close to restaurants, expressway, and Kings Island. We enjoyed our room, for the most part. The staff was friendly. Our room was clean and spacious. We were on the second floor, which was preferred even though we hadn't specified that.

Our room was conjoined with another room and that was slightly uncomfortable. Next time we will put in a request to not be in a room that is conjoined with another. Other than that, I do not have any complaints.

it was nice

for the price I was expecting more attention to the details. some things were left dirty which is usually not like that there. and the front desk lady made me feel like I was bothering her when checking in. I’ll stay again it just wasn’t WOW as usual.

The breakfast bar was very well done and served good quality food. The seating areas were comfortable with a small divider making you feel like you had a little more privacy that having all the seating in a single square room with tile floors where every sound echoes.

The room really needed a comfortable chair. The only seating available was a hard side chair and a slightly more comfortable desk chair. An upholstered chair and ottoman or small loveseat would be a great addition.

I always stay at this hotel when I visit Kings Island. The location is great and its right beside the waffle house. Room is always very clean and staff is helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

I have not complaints at all.

Staff was very friendly, great variety for breakfast and we could get the suite online for same price as regular room. It was the best placed we stayed while on vacation, only complaint was the pool was really cold, could be heated.

The pool was really cold, it would be nice for it to be heated. And ice machine on 2nd floor didn't work.
