Tru By Hilton Mason King's Island

They were kind enough to let us check in a couple hours early. The staff was very friendly.

In our room the bathroom door needed to be adjusted so it didn't drag on the floor. You can't open the door all the way. This was another shower with a weak stream. I think this is a trend in the hotel industry. The other trend I don't care for is no housekeeping unless you're there for four or more days. Maybe I'm just old school but when you're paying close to $200 a night. Fresh towels, a made bed and some empty garbage would be nice.

Awesome breakfast choices, servers kept bringing out fresh food and the "to go" box was a great add on. One of our favorite, most likeable and accommodating employees, was Sai, who demonstrated great customer service skills in addition to the above mentioned attributes.

Our first room, the bathroom was filthy had not been thoroughly cleaned, there was feces on the wall. However, upon notifying management, they quickly moved us to another room that was fully cleaned and appropriate.

The staff were truly amazing, so kind and quick to attend to your needs. Right across the street from Kings-island. My son loved the pool, the hotel was super clean, everything smelled like bleach. Rooms were super comfortable, I was as able to watch the fireworks going on at Kings Island outside my window. The breakfast was better then what I’ve ever experienced at any other hotel. There is also a pool table and a flat screen television with comfy couches in the lobby. There’s so much more I can say, this place exceeded my expectations for sure.

Sausage tasted like it was boiled, pancake maker was down. I was charged $15 more than what I was told my total would be. Indoor pool was freezing cold and kids couldn't swim véry long. Shower door wouldn't close all the way so water was soaked into the towel to step out on. No vents in the bathroom to keep temperature in a comfortable zone. AC was on 60 when we walked into the room. It was 63° outside

Solid breakfast every morning and the curtains that shut out the light even during the day was fantastic. Our trip included King's Island so being right across the street really helped out.

Could have used a microwave in the room instead of having to go to the lobby. The pool and room was a bit smaller than we would have liked for the family, but it was clean and nice so doable.

Very clean, very nice staff, very quick check-in process. Never saw another guest and it was very quiet. Convenient location 10-20 minutes from Amway Center, Universal, WDW and the airport. Nice extra facilities, complimentary coffee. I recommend Picasso Bakery nearby. There are also a few Vietnamese restaurants and a HUGE anime/k-pop store (think con vendor room). Walmart and 7/11 are very close by.

Parking was limited and we never saw the pool.

Spacious room and friendly staff. Pool is heated so that was nice also they have bottles of different toiletries which was awesome I loved the scent they chose for our bathroom of hand lotion definitely will be back

No biscuits and gravy or sausage two of the days was Canadian bacon one actual bacon also room service took a while with towels etc

Breakfast was great. It was ready at exactly 6am and had an exceptional selection for a healthy start to the day.

The corners of the bed frame would have been better if they were protected with soft corner padding. I was traveling with my child who has special needs, and kept hitting his legs on the sharp corners.

The facility was clean and beautifully decorated. The location was conveniently located off the highway. The staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was plentiful with many options to choose from.

The drawback of being conveniently located off the highway was the noise through the night. Whatever fabric the sheets were made of made me sweat. It didn't breathe like cotton sheets do.

Swimming pool area was great, clean, and there were plenty of towels. My girls love the showers and no tub to step into--- the entire family loves the shampoo and body wash. Comfort in beds too.

We did appreciate the breakfast and the layout. Very impressed. My girls would have liked an option of bacon.
