Located in beautiful rural area but not too far from access to local restaurants. The house itself is wonderfully designed, with beautiful wood and everything masked sense. Immaculate as well!! A beautiful pond can be seen from the bedroom window; we spotted a blue heron feeding on fish the morning g we were there. Before and after breakfast we walked down to the pond and around in beautiful open space and saw red-winged blackbirds, yellow finches and more - could spend time with binoculars if we had more. Breakfast was delicious farm to table— baked eggs with asparagus, heirloom tomatoes topped with edible flowers all grown on this farm property. Great time chatting with hosts Visar and Dave at breakfast— it really felt like home away from home. Bedroom was perfect — lots of space, window seat overlooking pond, nice bathroom and beds were very comfortable. Wind was blowing that night so a little loud but didn’t mind a bit!! Everything was so clean and tidy— can’t say enough good things about this stay— just what we needed!

Would prefer something more private. I thought I was paid in full and then was informed by the owner in the morning that she wasn't able to accept the credit card payment. Wanted me to do a wire transfer. Preferred next time we book through them. I have always used booking because it protects my booking and if there's a problem was always able to be refunded.

It was so much better than a hotel! The bedroom and bathroom were clean. The bathroom was spacious. Everything was well-kept! Breakfast was very good and the hosts were great!

Both Visar and Dave and were gracious and accommodating hosts. Their family members were terrific as well. The breakfasts were healthy, delicious and elegantly presented. Visar's homestead is built from the finest materials and her gardens are beautiful and bountiful. The room and bed were comfortable, and we felt well-rested each morning. I also gave Purple Skies a 5-star Google review!

The lock on our door didn't work, although we felt our belongings were safe. I needed to ask for an exchange of towels, which was fine, but the 2nd set was not nearly as luxurious as the initial set.

The breakfast was exceptional. The hospitality was wonderful and they were very accommodating. The location was fine... A little out of the way of where we wanted to be, but that was also part of it's charm because it felt so remote. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was spotless. We were there for only one day, but our hosts were wonderful.

The house was SO spotless that you asked to wear house slippers that they provided while in the house. Now while that wasn't a big deal because we there for only one day, PLUS we still have a pandemic going on, I had no problem doing this. But I do have chronic plantar fasciitis and if I had to stay there for a longer period of time and walk around on the bare floors for any moderate length of time then that would have been bothersome to me and would have caused my PF to flare up. But I'm sure that for most people this will not be a problem and instead they will be appreciative of how pristinely clean the place is. :)

Wonderful place with wonderful people! Very accommodating to me as their guest. Absolutely spotless home and room. Room was large and comfortable. Exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely stay with them again.

beautiful Rocky Mountain like home situated on gorgeous 19 acre farm complete with bright summer sunsets and never ending array of birds stopping be to rest in their favorite tree.

what’s not to like? like visiting family

Visar and Dave were absolutely wonderful hosts. We stopped through on a road trip from Chicago and chose to stay at Purple Skies so we were close to Cuyahoga National Park (15 minutes away). It was wonderful. The house and farm are beautiful. We sat outside for most of the evening, in front of the fire pit, with a great view of the sunset (lots of purple, hence, purple skies homestead). Breakfast was delicious and our conversations were wonderful. We couldn't recommend staying at Purple Skies more.

We so enjoyed our stay -- gracious and thoughtful hosts, lovely comfortable bedroom/bathroom suite, wonderful breakfasts, great location -- all of it!

The breakfast was fantastic! Everything was made fresh and most of the ingredients came straight from the farm in which the homestead resides. The location was great too! Only 30 minutes from Cleveland and 15 minutes from the Cuyahoga National Park. We loved spending time in Cleveland and the surrounding parks!

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. We had a very enjoyable time.
