The Bayberry House is full of historic artifacts and charm without that "creepy" feeling. It is also very clean and adheres to safety protocols. There's easy access to the highway and activities in town. There were options for a hot and/or cold breakfast. I thought the breakfast casserole was delicious and filling. The host, Scott, was wonderful! He has the perfect temperament: not intrusive and not standoffish. He's very friendly and has some good stories and history. We felt safe. Our stay was great!

I only had two minor gripes--and this is me being really nit-picky: One was the price--but that was totally on me. The room was a great value, but I did book last minute during Homecoming Weekend. Even though I can be frugal, it was still worth it. The only other thing was the bathroom shower size. Don't get me wrong--the bathroom was a conversion of a closet that was done very well. I just had to be careful in the shower because I can be a bit of a wild child in the shower.

Loved having a different hot meal each morning to start our day. The recipes were creative and delicious! Also enjoyed the central AC.

The location; close to town.

It’s an old house with a lot of stairs to get to bedrooms on the second floor. That’s not a slam, just a warning to be ready to haul luggage up there.

Very cozy and quiet. Antiques everywhere. Set up beautifully.

To me, the mattress was hard, but my husband liked it. And there was some mold that came out of the filter in the jacuzzi.

Beautiful home, great decor and easy check in. Scott and Derek have put together a wonderful, comfortable home away from home. I like that they shared a bit of the history of the home.

Everything was great.

The little touches in decorating were breathtaking! We stayed in the Francis Room and were WOW'D by the entire place but the dressing room in our room was gorgeous! They even printed off a couple of pictures I asked and laid them on the bed! Valentine's chocolates were also on the bed! The bed was so comfy, breakfast was delicious and it was a quiet and safe feeling neighborhood We would absolutely go back!

I dont know why this sad face appears here and I cant take it away!! MY REVIEW. I have stayed in this beautiful Victorian House twice. It is so nice, you will not be dissapointed!!!! It is super clean, super cozy and very very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing!! Not just cereal and coffee but Scott cooked delicious potatoes eggs and sausage. It was amazing!!. In the evening we sat by the beautiful chimney and had some wine. I can't tell you enough about how wonderful this place is. And Scott is super nice!!!!! I recommend this place 100%!!!
