Pretty much everything. The entire staff was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, accommodating, helpful and efficient. Special kudos to Bob and Cathy. The price, through Booking.com, was very reasonable, and way less than the other hotels in the area. The room was clean, modern, well appointed for a budget room (micro, refer, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, coffee maker), comfortable, quiet, and overlooked the parking lot allowing me to keep an eye on my car, and see the big bridge across the Ohio River into West Virginia.. Housekeeping was scheduled as every third day, but towels and such were always available, and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with a new mattress and a really comfortable topper. I was never cold or uncomfortable. There is a laundry available at $2.00/load, (which I didn't use), and a pair of coolers by the front desk with sandwiches and drinks. The continental breakfast was fine - make-yourself waffles, fruit, cereal, bagels. And coffee, which was available all day, with liquid creamers (not that awful powdered stuff.) The lobby was spacious and clean, with a tv and electric fireplace, and a computer available for guests to use. The location is only minutes from downtown or access roads to western Steubenville. I had not problem at all finding it coming in on 22 from the east. There's a big sign coming off the bridge directing to University Blvd, and the hotel is only about a half mile, if that, up the hill. All in all, I would readily recommend Sleep Inn for any budget conscious traveler looking for a clean, quiet place to stay.

I thought the hotel was very nice! We were happy to get a room for graduation right next to the university. The room was a sufficient size, clean and had a good iron and ironing board. I feel that things in the bathroom were sufficiently clean. I am a wiper downer. I wiped down the whole room and bathroom with wipes before we Moved in and all looked pretty clean.

The side security door did not work so you didn’t need a key. The toilet paper holder was obviously broken but useable. Breakfast was weak but adequate if you needed something. Price was higher than usual but again, it was graduation weekend and that is to be expected.

Check in went very easy and the clerk was very friendly and answered all questions I had.

Whoever was staying next to my room was VERY noisy and kept slamming the entry door. This took place for nearly an hour or so until about midnight then they quieted down.

They need vending machines for snacks and drinks. Cost of their drinks and snacks were a little high.

Perfect location for moving my son in to college

Door key needed to be reset every time I used it, the shower drain was ridiculously slow and the tiles on the floor where badly cracked. Overall, I am picky being a contractor, but I will stay there every time I see my son.

Our room was very small, next time I would book a two queen room for the extra space. Also, I think I requested a first floor room but was out on the 3rd floor. Not a big deal, but didn’t honor my request.

We did not have a hair dryer in the room. Everything else was clean and readily available. Beds, blankets, pillows were fresh, clean and comfy!! Coffee maker, fridge and microwave were like new and met all our needs. We will definitely stay here again.

There was no breakfast as promised, but a snack bag. Unhappy with that. Had to go our for breakfast every morning.

that after requesting a ground floor and even calling to confirm was placed on the 3rd floor again. Very hard on my knee . Hassle to take my equipment on the elevator. this was the second time my ground floor request was not met.

The staff try really hard to be courteous and responsive. It is a quiet property. I have stayed here twice within past couple of months and the service and facilities are consistent.

The furniture in the rooms is starting to show wear, and I noticed marks on door and furniture evident from wear. The bagged breakfast is so-so.
