Astoria Rivershore Motel

I loved the cleanliness, the easiness of our late check in, the spaciousness of the rooms, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was very friendly/very communicative. It was great that the kitchenette had fully stocked dishes. The bathroom was super clean. I also loved that the separate bedroom had another tv so the kids could watch tv while us adults had our space. We would stay here again.

We didn’t really like how you could hear The traffic from outside. We did turn the microwave fan on to help drown out some of the outside noise.

We loved the Astoria Rivershore. When we arrived I had forgotten to ask for a ground floor room ( I was in a lower leg cast.) I was told that all the doubles with kitchens on the ground floor had been reserved....but...just a minute. Our host radioed Heidi, the cleaning impresario, and Heidi said she could finish one up as soon as she got one towel out of the dryer. We were in business! We were worried about noise....but did not have to worry. The back bedroom let us sleep like babies! The beds were awesome, the place was clean, and the shower was great. The kitchen had very limited furnishings. A few dishes, breakfast bowls, glasses, coffee mugs, 4 pans (no pots), a few utensils......but lots of coffee. There were plenty of towels and pillows. An extra plus was the view out of our window, across the road, of the Columbia river. Yes this is an older remodeled motel, that still shows it age, on a noisy street, but the price (value!), the room and the staff made our one nite stay quite enjoyable.

Could have used more equipment in the kitchen.

The room was very clean and smelled nice. I liked the coffee machine and microwave. The shower was great with decent pressure and hot water. There was just enough parking for guests. There was coffee and tea in the reception area in the morning. The location was convenient by car or on foot. I found the WiFi and TV worked well too. The property accepted my credit card without a problem.

I have nothing negative to say about the experience. Unfortunately, we arrived a bit late but the staff was nice to let us into our room which was appreciated unfortunately they were not able to see our messages sent through the Booking application that we would be arriving a bit late. Overall the property exceeded my expectations and I stay at a lot of independent and chain hotels/motels. It was a bit more expensive than I would have liked but there weren't many other affordable options available last minute.

Great location, very nice to have two rooms, stove and fridge. The staff was really nice. It was kind of an older motel, but everything was very clean.

The price was kind of high for the place, but I think it was higher for the peak season that I went. The beds were too firm for me, but I would still stay here again.

It is a motel and right off the main street with traffic all-night but I use earplugs and they did their best to accommodate. So: Comfortable bed, clean room and affordable for positives

Nor much 'didn't like' but some things that might put another off: noisy (I use earplugs so was not a problem), dated and worn furniture and rugs, and not enough towels for balance. We would stay again but if you are looking for something that pops, you'd probably want something else, this one is functional and worked since we weren't there much.

I had a very cozy little room, comfortable bed and blanket, clean and freshly painted bathroom, plus a microwave and fridge--everything I needed. Even though it was on a busy road, my room was tucked in the corner and I didn't notice traffic noise much.

Some of the furniture was old and scratched, but I had a dresser, a desk, a place to hang my clothes. There was no breakfast, although I thought the description on the brochure mentioned breakfast.

This location is a comfortable motel. The price is good for the accommodations. It's better than most in the area. The rooms were renovated a while back. This is our go to place in Astoria.

For me the bed is slightly uncomfortable ... But still not bad.

The only problem we had was although it was advertised As having Wi-Fi it wouldn’t work for us manager said they hadn’t other complaints we used the pass code but no luck.

We enjoyed the fact hot coffee and tea was served in office practically all day. We availed ourselves of that treat many times. There was only one chair in our room. I did see 2, in Rooms with doors open for cleaning. That would be nice for all rooms.

Location is great. Nice staff. Fairly easy walk to downtown Astoria. Quick access to bridge to Washington. Nice view. Nice room with basic kitchen & full-size refrigerator, Deluxe queen room has 2 queen beds. Separate room for 2nd bed. TV in each space with all connections for USB, hdmi, etc. Good water pressure & hot shower. Subway & burritos next door.

1 bathroom towel had a brown stain. Microwave had not been cleaned. Everything else was good.

The location was amazing for exploring. The floorplan was great for a family, the two queen beds were separated by a small hallway and the bathroom. It was clean and smelled great.

The carpets felt a little damp and the road noise was a little loud so light sleepers might have a hard time with that.
