The hotel was beautiful, with a great view, and atmosphere. Very comfortable and relaxing. The first staff member I met was SO nice and it was easy to check in. The bed and couch were comfortable and I would love to go back. The room I got was perfect for two people, my friend and I loved it
The floor kind of creaked and we worried about being noisy, and it looked like there was supposed to be a little cafe that wasn't open at the time, but hopefully next time it will. There were other great places nearby, so it wasn't a problem

We had a lovely stay at the Selina. It is in a great, old downtown building that is easy to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Staying in the old hotel is like a time machine and the shared bathrooms are clean and the provided robes makes it easy to get to and from the room. The staff is friendly and there are plenty of DVD, music, game options to keep yourself entertained in the room.
The walls are bit thin, so be prepared to use earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Our room was also a bit small/ cramped, but overall well worth the value!

Great location, nicely furnished, clean and we had a very nice view from our room. The staff was all very nice and we liked the amenities provided. Water pressure in the shower was great. We loved that the windows opened for fresh air. Loved having an electric kettle and actual ceramic mugs and glasses. Higher end perks for a very reasonable price. Also pet friendly! Very reasonable pet fee.
The only thing we didn't love was that the pillows and the bed weren't the most cozy and the sheets were a little scratchy.

The front desk staff were very kind and helpful and went out of their way to answer any questions and accommodate us. The rooms were very clean.
There’s a lot of stuff that used to be provided by the hotel, but no longer is, with no reduction in price, including: -bathrobes (these are pretty necessary with no in-room bathroom) -free coffee(front desk staff did offer us some instant coffee she had but they used to provide good, fresh coffeee for all guests) -happy hour, and with beer sampling -commodore pencils, which were just cool. That is a ton of value to cut while keeping the room price the same.

I just loved this hotel ! The staff was friendly and professional. The location was amazing right next to the waterfront in Astoria
I thought I wanted a room with a bath but the sink in the room was perfect. The shower was private and so powerful. The toilet was private and separate so you did not have to wait ever. Very close to the rooms.

Location is great! I had a really wonderful time in Astoria - so much history and this hotel was part of the experience. Love the bathrobes, the skylight on the third floor, room was bigger than expected and it's nice to have a sink in the room. I always bring flip flops when sharing bath and I didn't have to wait even once to use the toilet or shower. Showers were spacious and clean. Staff let me cut a piece of aloe vera to help with the sunburn I got from visiting Seaside and Cannon Beach, which was sweet.
As everyone says, the walls are thin and I could hear conversations from other rooms. Unfortunately, they were late sleepers and talked and talked beyond midnight. Use the provided earplugs! Coffee was not made 2 of the mornings I was there but there was always water to fill my bottle.

Interesting style. It so different than normal hotel.
I’m deaf, I normally don’t hear anything when I sleep but I can feel the vibrations of how How loud the people walk the floors at night and morning. The floor must be creaking so loudly enough a deaf person sleeping can feel entire building through the vibrations signals to her bed. It was an interesting experience.

Conveniently located in the heart of Astoria with easy access to shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is clean, and the staff is super welcoming, friendly and helpful!
The facilities are a little bit dated, but it's still a really decent stay compared to other options along the Oregon/Washington coast. Overall, and for a short stay, there is nothing to complain about here.

perfect central location to breweries, waterfront, restaurants, and downtown Astoria. Very friendly front desk staff. Was able to reserve a requested room. Loved being able to borrow the turntable and listen to vinyl someone who stayed before me had listened to. We had breakfast in room with an "Astoria playlist". What a fun weekend staycation, that I didn't want to go home. Extended my stay for another day...

The lobby is very nice and modern while the room/upstairs is very organic and old fashioned, which was a nice surprise. Loved the room although small and it was nice having a sink/mirror in the room since the bathroom is across the hall.
The room got a bit hot but there's a large window and plug-in fan in the room, and it's an old building. Just adds to the character.
