Our stay was in a corner room. Waking up in the morning and making tea to look out over the golf course while I read was so relaxing. we completed some stamps on out Mcmenamins passports. Getting to visit the different bars was a cool experience. It was also my birthday and I had a card waiting in my room when I got there. We are not golfers but still had an excellent time. I would for sure recommend.

The bed in our room was quite firm. Which isn’t for us. i think if we would have expressed this they would have changed our rooms for us.

Fantastic location, easy access to the beach. Seaside is only 5 minutes down the road. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were quaint and very clean. Great water pressure and temperature in the showers. We will make this a regular place to stay anytime we want to get some beach time.

Nothing regarding the hotel itself, however we did have very poor service at the restaurant downstairs for the breakfast service the morning we checked out. Luckily for her, we didn't catch her name but she was impatient, very rude, and never once "touched" our table to see if we needed anything. Not even water.

McMenamins has a great thing going with their celebration and restoration of vintage buildings. I love a sense of history, and they deliver. The room was very comfortable and had blackout curtains, a spacious bed, good pillows, and everything was spotlessly clean as well as decorated with the vintage golf theme that made the Gearhart location stand out.

The location is right next to beach access across the street. Which is a residential street. So it is not busy. Also it has the pro shop at the bottom for the Gearhart Golf Links course. Which is the oldest course west of the Mississippi. The character and charm that Mcmenamin's puts into their hotels, pubs and bars is just beautiful.

Such a great experience all around. Great facility and courteous staff. The location close to the beach was top notch and while McMenamins didn't have anything to do with it, the weather was perfect.

Instructions on how to operate the heating and air might have helped but we figured it out and we were very comfortable after some trial and error. Not a big deal

Beautiful location, next to the golf course, and a 3 minute walk onto the beach. Our room was in the Annex, new facility with a great view. Also very stylish with classic feel in the McMenamins tradition. Attached restaurant is old English pub style. Bartender was friendly and very helpful. Beach side accommodation is can't miss.

Quaint lodge, short walk to beach, comfy bed and great restaurant on-site. Best eggs benedict I've had in a while! Friendly staff despite working under difficult conditions. Very close to Seaside and Cannon Beach. My husband is anxious to return to play the golf course which was closed while we were there.

Very small room, although I think we had one of the smallest in the building, despite the fact it was not near fully booked. Lighting very low, not conducive to reading in bed. Coffee available in the morning but wasn't very good.

My granddaughter and I really enjoyed lunch, dinner and breakfast while staying at McMenamins Gearhart. The service in the restaurant was great considering they were busy with other travelers. We had very friendly servers and enjoyed watching the storm outside while we ate.

When we arrived for dinner we were told (at the check-in kiosk) the wait could be up to 20 minutes but they would text when table was available. While waiting another group came in (4 people) and they were also told of the wait but were given the option to go downstairs to see if a table was available. I went up to the main desk (no one at the check-in kiosk) and asked why I was not given this option at the time I checked in? I was told to go downstairs to see if table was available. Unfortunately, the last table was taken by that group of (4). I returned upstairs to inform them and again just said it would have been nice if they had mentioned that option to me when we checked in.

Great location overlooking golf course. Large, comfy room. Nice pub, good food.

No refrigerator or microwave in the room. Coffee was in the lobby. No luggage cart was available.

The staff was excellent, my room was comfy. Only suggestion is to move king bed to face golf course view not parking lot.

I am a Realtor so position of bed bothered me. Move bed to the wall was with art. View the golf course!!!!
