Comfort Suites Eugene

For the price, I was pleasantly surprised by this location. I’m a news reporter working between two cities and have to stay in hotels for work. The room was spacious and tidy. There’s a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, and iron in the room. We had random needs come up…scissors, towels, even tampons (emergencies happen), and the front desk was so gracious and helpful. I’ve experienced loud locations, but this one was totally peaceful. My two little ones enjoyed the pool; although, it was closed the second day, and there was a dog in there the first (with his owner and leashed). My kids enjoyed breakfast though I was a bit grumpy and didn’t eat. My son said the waffle I made him was pretty tasty. My only qualms were the shower temperature lever moved on it’s own changing from warm to hot every time I readjusted it and the tiny size of the shampoo/conditioner (though I’m sure as friendly as everyone was, they would’ve gladly given me another).

Breakfast was pretty standard. The room was nice with a comfortable bed. Though in a remote location, there were easy routes to get into Eugene and Springfield. The place was quiet.

It is a bit out of the way, so I guess I was expecting a rate that was lower. No university events that we were aware of at that time. The location was rather remote, so very little to do or see or eat around the property.

The people: Lorelei in particular was a super host with her super attentive and caring attitude. She welcome us and as ee observed each person intentionally for breakfast. Ensured our son and us found the pencils and drawings for example and more. To be fair this also extended to the reception staff and cleaning crew but Lolerei definitely stood out for us. The hotel: big room, clean and comfortable bed. Great facilities with fridge. Microwave and coffee maker and good working and rest área.

I have stayed here many times, first as a local, and now coming from out of state. It'a always excellent. In this case, lots of breakfast items, a nice cool air conditioner, friendly staff, including front desk, management, and housekeeping, and quiet for almost my entire 7 day stay. I was booked for 5 days, and I actually tacked on another 2 with a discounted rate. Thank you again for a great stay.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was comprehensive, and the staff went out of their way to service you. For instance, removing your plates when finished, asking if you'd like more coffee, etc. Great selection of breakfast items.

The hotel is a bit dated but well maintained. Our room was clean, but there were some issues with the TV that we alerted to staff. One thing that bothered me was in our room, someone must have tried to draw the permanent drapes on the window, and one side was hanging off their permanent fixture. We hooked it back up, but I would have thought hotel maintenance would have been on top of that before renting out the room again.

EVERYTHING! The value was excellent, the staff superb, the room was very comfortable, the facilities were clean and tidy, and the breakfast was delicious and a wonderful addition to it all! There is nowhere else I will stay when I'm in town!

If I had to say something, I'd say the bed was a bit too firm for my liking. But the softness of the sheets made up for it. They had me wanting to take the sheets home with me 😆!

All the staff (reception, house keeping & breakfast bar) was friendly & helpful. We especially impressed with Lorelei at the breakfast bar. She was friendly & helpful to everyone & went above & beyond to make the customer experience pleasant.

very clean, coffee and breakfast good and available and the pool and workout room were a plus.

it was a 10 min drive to the campus but a little far from the restaurants and such of Eugene. but the hotel was clean, large very comfortable pool and The staff was courteous and available. there’s a gas station adjacent to fill up your rental car, so that was convenient. I would stay here again.

Room smartly laid out. Plenty of USB ports by bed and desk. Comfy couch and table. Large t.v. in front of bed...with plenty of channels. Soft pillows and comfortable bed. Multiple types of bed lighting: 1) flex pin light for reading without disturbing your spouse, and 2) a regular bed lamp. Better than average breakfast.

It was a five minute drive to the college and track facilities.

My only complaint was the stairwell door by the pool was locked so we couldn’t access the stairway from the pool. The elevator was working but was not a personal option to use. My daughter has to take the elevator up and come down the stairs way to open the door for me. This could be an issue during an emergency.
