Excellent room, very clean. Convenient walk to the conference center. Natasha and Daniel were very helpful at the front desk. Well decorated throughout.

A bottle of water in the room should be free for the price. Housekeeping took a bathrobe for cleaning and didn't replace it (which was fine) except that I had to tell the desk about it so I wouldn't be charged at check-out. I had a lunch reservation at the Metropolitan Tavern and wasn't impressed with the service. After being seated, it took 15 min before a server arrived to take my meal order, and another 45 min to get it. Brisket sandwich and soup of the day shouldn't take that long! The restaurant was not full either. The food was good, but the cup of soup was skimpy.

We always stay at Hotel Eastlund when visiting Portland. It's incredibly convenient (close to I-5 and I-84, with both MAX light rail and streetcars literally outside the hotel). The staff are always welcoming, pleasant, and helpful (the valets are some of the best I've experienced). They did a nice job of taking a mid-century modern building and gut renovating it, making it feel modern, hip, and functional. The rooftop restaurant and bar offers great views of the city skyline and the West Hills beyond; great for sunsets. The rooms are nicely decorated, well appointed, and comfortable. The staff accommodated our request for a quiet room, which we appreciated.

The new coffee shop isn't quite as good as the one that it replaced; it doesn't appear that they bake their pastries onsite any longer, which (if accurate) is a bit of a shame.

The front desk staff was amazing. They actually let us check in very early after we flew in from Alaska on the red-eye and hadn't slept for about 24 hours. They also did it without making us feel like it was putting them out at all. They happily stored our luggage until our room was ready. The bed was excellent as was the shower. We totally enjoyed the beautiful rooftop bar and restaurant and the little coffee shop had excellent coffee and pastries and sandwiches. Would definitely recommend.

The staff was kind, helpful, and friendly. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, clean and well-stocked. I was not expecting them to be so modern and nice! The beds and pillows were comfortable, providing a great night's sleep after an exhausting day. More family came into town a couple of nights later, booked rooms at my recommendation, and were also very impressed! The view of the convention center from the hotel was beautiful at night. I was too tired to get up to the rooftop bar by the time I checked in, but I will definitely go next time, as I plan to stay here again.

My room faced NE Grand Street to no fault of the hotel or staff. This made for much noise from the Metro route along this street first thing in the morning. However, the room was supplied with earplugs! After check-out, I discovered that I unexpectedly had to stay another night in Portland, and the hotel was able to accommodate me. I was booked in a different, much quieter room that faced Hassalo.

The bed was comfy with a big luxurious faux fur blanket. The windows opened! I love when hotel windows open and you can get fresh air. There were drawers to store your things and keep it all off the floor. The location is very convenient. They were able to add a night for me no problem.

The wiring/lighting system was so complex I had to unplug half the lamps to get them to turn off. The bathroom design is not conducive to anything one would do in a bathroom. The attached restaurant is a rip off with prices and quality worse than most airports.

We've stayed here quite a few times and really like it. Its a nice hotel, overall pretty clean and comfortable. The location is easy to get in and out of and a quick drive to dowtown shops and restraurants. The staff were super nice! Parking is not cheap but it is very secure (especially compared to street areas) and valet are nice and professional. The coffee shop downstairs is very yummy!

Main issue is that this time we were placed on the 5th floor - directly below the restaurant. The first night there was only a little noise, the second night it was SO loud until 11:30-midnight. Sounded like tables and chairs being drug around. Luckily we weren't getting up early so it wasn't a big deal but it would have been terrible if we couldn't sleep in! The room had some stains on the carpet, drapes, etc. Could use a deep clean but otherwise clean and comfortable. Service at the restaurant upstairs wasn't great...just slow and mistakes in orders.

The room was very clean and the bed was nice and comfortable. I appreciated the availability for daily service to the room. The room had a beautiful view of the convention center and city. You could even see the Portland, OR, stag sign from the room, which is a great add for visitors.

I stayed in room 502, which had a maintenance room (or utility closet) located on the other side of the wall that the bed's headboard is located. There was very noisy with banging even late into the night. I'm a young adult that's able to sleep through anything, but I would seriously recommend moving the bed to another wall to avoid more sensitive sleepers' negative ratings. But still - this was the most luxurious hotel I've stayed in thus far.

The comfort of the bed was very very comfortable as well as the sheets and blanket. The heating/cooling was great and easy to use. The bathroom was very clean. The pillows weren't bad, just a bit flat. I had to double pillow for my comfort level. There was no hassle when we had issues with ants in our bathroom, the front desk worked their magic and changed our room right away. We didn't have to go to the front desk to give them our room keys. Our keys automatically worked in just a matter of minutes in our new room on the other side of the floor.

After the first night we stayed there, we found ants in the bathroom. There wasn't bottled water to welcome us when we first checked in.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Bedding and mattress was luxurious and we had a perfect night sleep. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and the food was good. It was the perfect location for a weekend cheer competition at the convention center.

The area was pretty loud at night with the light rail and we were not able to keep windows open. Also, we used the stairs that lead down to MLK Blvd to exit the building. My wife did that at night and there was someone at the bottom of the stairs doing meth. She called the hotel and they sent security out, but know that it made her a little uncomfortable.

Closed to everything. Fast food restaurants down a couple blocks if you so not want to eat at the hotel, Walgreens near by in case you need something. Hotel was nice and clean and staff very helpful.

Was a bit pricey compared to Hyatt right next door. it’s great Valer parking but it adds up when you pay per night and it’s uncomfortable to be requesting your car all the time. If you only leave the hotel once ok but if you have to be leaving at least 4 times per day, it becomes a pain.
