I initially chose Motel 6 for the location. After 1 night, I decided to change for less money and far better accommodations at the Inn. Outward appearance sure fooled me. It had a dark overall first impression. Once inside, starting with the professionalism of the Greeting staff… He was very knowledgeable regarding local specialties. The room was very good for the price, no odors or smells, sheets were clean, everything exceed the price tag. Even the view from the window.

I couldn’t think of sanything right now. All the stuff I didn’t like was next door in Motel 6.

The front desk staff were amazing and he told me great local restaurant ideas! :) we came back pretty late and it was easy to get into the hotel that was super secure with the door locked at the front. Great ice machine AND water attached as well which I haven’t seen before! There was absolutely no mold in the shower and I was shocked it was so clean for it only being $100 :) and the parking was easy and cheap, super secure as well!

The only complaint I have is the bus coming by every 5 mins outside our window super early in the morning lol

I loved how close it was to the convention center where I was working for the weekend, so I'll definitely be staying there again for my other events! The rooms were clean and nice complaints there. Above everything though the staff is WONDERFUL I will literally stay there again just for that. I can't remember the names of the two ladies that helped us, but Cyrus is absolutely phenomenal and we loved talking with them. I love the somewhat small business feel this place has and I can't wait to stay again :)

The only thing I could think of is the room we stayed in was on the side where the tram goes by so it got quite loud pretty often; and having to pay for parking for the visit wasn't ideal. However these are just the smallest things, and over all it was great :)

I have been staying at this hotel every time I visit my kid who lives nearby. it is very convenient to everything, and it has a smallish parking lot. I always feel safe here. The room is very large with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker with really good coffee. The hotel is dated but for the price, who cares! The best part are the people who work here, they could not be any more helpful and friendly. I actually look forward to seeing them when I come to visit. You should know that the MAX train is literally outside your door so ask for a room away from the train, and you will be fine. Also ask for an extra blanket for the bed as it can get chilly. Convention center is right next door, and there are convenience stores close by.

it is sometimes chilly in the room, and sometimes there is not enough parking, in which case I go to the lot next door which we are allowed to use.

1. If you’re going to the Oregon Convention Center, you can’t stay any closer. 2. They have a lot of parking in their parking garage right there- sheltered and convenient. 3. The staff was super nice and helpful. 4. The room was attractive and very clean. Mine looked out on some lovely trees and the bed was comfy. 5. The room had a small (but not tiny) refrigerator and a microwave as well as the usual little coffee maker.

The only disadvantage is there’s no food or any other facilities — but plenty in the area. Oh- one other thing- my room which looked out on the lovely trees also overlooked the light rail line. The noise of that might bother some people. You could ask for a room that faces the other way, but then you probably wouldn’t have the pretty trees. The first night it bothered me but after that I mostly stopped hearing it.

It was close to the convention center and on the last day of our stay, we were able to keep our car parked there while we finished the convention. The staff was super friendly as well.

I personally didn't like the comfort of the bed, I was the only one though. There was not a fan in the bathroom, They were doing repairs and such and I hope next time around, they will have replaced those gross carpets.

The Inn was the perfect place for my stay in Portland to attend a convention. It is a short walk (literally across the street) from the Convention Center and also not far from many dining options. With a Maxx transit center also half a block away, even more dining options are a short ride away. The staff at the Inn are all friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. All things considered, my room there was a bargain!

The only drawback was the air freshener used in the hallways daily when the floor was vacuumed. I am sensitive to strong fragrances and it was very strong and perfume-y. Fortunately it remained in the hallway and out of my room.

Excellent location directly across from transit and the Oregon Convention Center. Comfortable beds, friendly staff and affordable prices make the Inn the ideal conference hotel on a budget.

Rooms are a bit dated and noisy due to trains and streetcars outside.

Clean hotel, very friendly staff, large room with good air-conditioning, just a 1 minute walk from the convention center and the train stop.

Not the hotels fault, but the general area around the convention center and downtown are horrible. We did not feel safe walking around even during the day and only stayed because I was there for a conference.

Excellent location, not far from city center, right across the street from the tram which offers an all day pass for $5.00. Room was very nice, would definitely stay here again. Front desk staff accommodated our early check-in.

The unfortunate, "signs of the times", in most of the down town areas of our major cities, was all too apparent in this visit to the once beautiful and vibrant downtown Portland area. The homeless camps and drug culture, as well as evidence of the recent riots, altered our experience of our 1 day/evening in Portland, We were not prepared and felt a sense of loss and sadness.
