Crowne Plaza Hotel Portland-Downtown Convention Center, an IHG Hotel

The proximity to different venues in the area. Definitely will consider staying again for futire events.

The homeless population nearby and the lack of parking due to events at the hotel. Hotel guests should not have to look for street parking. Especially is paying for parking.

Staff was fantastic and responsive. Room service was FAST and delicious! Our room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The temperature was great. The parking was close and there was enough of it.

There was water damage visible on the ceiling. The top doorlock thing broke while we were there. I was in the room and my husband didn't know I had put it on and went to open the door and it snapped. It didn't make me feel very secure. I think it was not very sturdy and already in a weakened state. The only other thing, which really wasn't a big deal is that there is what looks to be a tiny village of itty bitty homes. I suspect to help house the homeless. The area seemed fairly clean and I could look down into it. It was right next to the parking lot and I was a bit more concerned about my car. However, the car was safe and sound and we had a pretty fantastic stay.

It was close walking distance from Moda center

The parking attendant was very rude to me and my kids. The lot was full and I went to ask him if you guys had another lot he yelled at me “Did you pay for parking “. I told him we payed when we checked in and then he said how come I didn’t see you come through here. I was appalled that he would even say this to me. we spent alot of money this weekend here and if it wasn’t for all your other staff that made up for his rudeness we would never return here. The other staff both at the restaurant, bar and front counter were exceptional.

Everyone was so polite. From my room with housekeeper, The Waiters and Waitresses, the bar tender. The receptionist at the desk in the lobby. The location was in walking distance to the mall, Moda Center, restaurants, the shuttle was available for pick up to other locations and to the airport. Me and my family are very impress with our stay at The Crowne Hotel, we will be back. We are from Southern California and came out to see the Trailblazer and Golden State Warriors Basketball game on April 9th

Everything was great. I have no complaints

Everything was wonderful from the room to the service, but the hot tub are and pool were not very clean. Not sure if anyone had checked the area prior to 11:40am because there was a lot of glass on the ground around the hot tub from what appeared to be a broken cup and kids toys were still left from previous users. Also, the faucet in the shower room net to the hot tub took over 10 minutes to heat up and was not very user friendly. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and the price was great for the full experience we had and the location of the hotel couldn’t have been better for many activities and good food!

The property was clean and required masks during the Delta variant’s peak time. The front desk day supervisor was extremely helpful.

Unlike other similarly classed hotels, this one had no free breakfast options—not even continental style. I bought a bowl of cereal and 8oz of milk from the snack store for $7.00. This is just robbery. My king bed room was small compared to most others. Two people in the room feels cramped— like you are always walking around each other.

The location and the bar restaurant were great as well as the room.

We could not get our shower handle to turn on so called the front desk. The person answering said we just needed to give the handle a hard turn which did not work so he came up and pounded and pulled on the handle until it finally moved and told us we just did not give it enough "elbow grease" We asked to change rooms and were not accomodated as the shower still did not turn on that night until my husband pounded on it. This guy was very condensending. We did tell the front desk when we checked out that the shower handle needed to be replaced. We would definetely stay there again as we come to Portland, Oregon for the Trailblazer's games but this incident needs to be addressed.

The location was great! We were able to walk or Lyft anywhere we needed to go on this trip. The reception area was great and even had a little area where you could buy a quick drink or bite for on the go at any time. The outdoor patio areas were lovely.

Our room shower didn't drain well at all. The second day we tried to get breakfast at the onsite cafe, and we were seated with coffee, but that's it. After 25 minutes of watching our server handle other tables, with food and bussing tables that finished, while completely avoiding all eye contact with the three of us, we finally left cash on the table for the coffee and left. That was awful, and a complete 180 from the first day where we had excellent food and service. Really sad and we didn't eat there on our last day either due to this.

Nice restaurant and bar. The bed was comfortable to sleep on, and the room was fairly well appointed. The wifi was good.

For a double bed room, it had fewer towels than needed, and I had to go to the desk to ask for towels. The bed my husband and I slept in was too close to the wall on one side, and he kept banking his foot on the frame. The backdoor entrance wasn't usable , so we had to walk around the building to get to the entrance late at night. The bathroom is extremely small.

I liked that It was close to the venue and gated in the evening.

I didnt like paying 25.00 parking fees and thought it was expensive for 1 night since I rented 2 rooms. And had to pay parking for each vehicle.Coffee placement was in odd place with one sink in the bathroom it was hard to make coffee. Also not enough cups or coffee supplied for everyone. Not everyone uses bodywash. Bar soap would have been a nice alternative. Hallways were confusing and the beds are to high for people with disabilities.
