DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh Airport

Surprisingly quiet considering it's close to the airport. Room seemed recently remodeled. Nice shower. Comfy bed and pillows. Air conditioner was not obnoxiously loud. Plenty of lighting. Nice large flat screen TV. Refrigerator had plenty of space for a few groceries. The free coffee in the lobby was actually good coffee. Front desk workers were friendly.

Only criticism is that the plastic grate on the AC unit was busted. Other than that, very nice room.

clean. Breakfest was amazing! Ladies at Breakfest were so kind and nice.

no one at checkin at 1 am after flight. stood there with extremely tired kids for over 10 minutes until night guy came back to desk. Also booking.com said breakfast was included when it is not or hotel has no info of that so I had to argue and show any booking at 1:30 am proving that it said breakfast included.

Had a very early flight in the winter, so I was able to sleep here and take the shuttle to the airport. I was able to park my car there for a week at a very reasonable rate. The car is in a surface lot. Staff very nice. I checked in and out very late so I have no comment about food, etc

We ate an informal dinner as the associated in laws. We all came to Pittsburgh to attend our Granddaughter's graduation from the University of Pittsburgh. We ate at Caroline's in the hotel. The service was excellent, the booth was comfortable and clean and the food very good. Everyone was pleased.

Location is perfect for the airport and getting downtown quickly. A text was received soon after checking in asking if everything was okay. I requested towels and they were brought to the room while we were out 👍🏼

That there was no continental breakfast included.

I absolutely loved the location and staff. I loved the fact you were able to sit outside on the patio as late as you wanted. Which is also nice for the ppl whom smoke and have a non smoking room the beds were comfy. Housekeeping was also very helpful and polite.

Unfortunately, we had to rush so we did not have an opportunity to experience breakfast nor the other activities/facilities, the location was good.

My family had to wait for nearly four hours at the airport until I arrived because the phone number of Doubletree was wrong on your website so they could not contact the hotel for transportation. We come from southwest U.S. so we had to rely on the website for phone numbers. We did not know this phone number for your hotel was no longer in service so the wait for the family was long. We were promised a cookie and we never got the chocolate chip cookies. When we arrived, we were told, they ran out and more cookies were supposed to be given to us, but it never happened.

I would consider 630 as an opening time for the breakfast on the weekends. We traveled for sports and really didn’t have an opportunity to get breakfast which was disappointing. Or at least an option

I missed being able to brew my own coffee. There was only one washcloth last time I was there the buffet was included. I mistakenly started the buffet without waiting for the waitress and she gave us minimal service as a result.

The location was good. The staff were very helpful and polite. I was disappointed however in the buffet. I thought for 19.00 a plate there would be more food. Also the eggs were cold and the juice warm.
