Sleep Inn & Suites Pittsburgh

The receptionist at check in was friendly and welcoming. She was proactive and sent staff with linen to set up the sofa bed in the room. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable and the room and the bathroom were reasonably clean. Walmart and various eateries is within a short driving distance. Access to the highway and PIT airport is very convenient.

I smelt cigarette smoke in the halls at night. Breakfast was also very strange. Empty trays of food and fruit with no replenishments. I saw quite a few people walk away on finding the trays empty. This was @ 9 am on a Saturday morning, a full hour before breakfast closing time. The lady supposed to be checking on the guests just sat on a table and helped herself to breakfast. Even after dark, side entrances weren't locked and we passed through without our room keys/cards.. This despite signs saying room access cards were needed to open the door. Makes the place feel unsafe.

The breakfast was fine for me. Offering a choice of fruit would improve this area. The location was good for me. I was near to the bus route and was able to easily travel to downtown Pittsburgh.

At breakfast, more variety in choice of fruit. I only saw bananas.

Rooms were comfortable and quite spacious. Ample parking and hotel was close to shopping and restaurants. Approximately 16 minutes from PNC Field which was great for us!

Breakfast selection was limited and sausages were cold. One of the two rooms we had was subject to noises from the hotel ventilation system (apparent one night at 12:30 am) and excessive water noise when another room was using their shower.

The staff were all great, all 3 of the employees/managers were 5 star , the manager gave some of the breakfast donuts to take home. I wasn’t able to find those donuts for the longest time and it was awesome getting to have them again. The rooms were really clean. Only a few spots were missed in their cleaning, a couple strands of hair here and there, under the head of the bed and a couple in the bathroom, plus old coffee flitter but hey were all human. Other then that the room was really nice.

The coffee table edge was a bit worn out but it didn’t bother me. The TV guide didn’t see correct but no big deal. A little extra cleaning seems needed but still was really clean.

Initially we had some issues checking in but April was able to turn a negative situation around. She did her best to accommodate us. Thank you April. I really appreciate it. You deserve a raise and a 10.

Requested a pull out couch but only a chair. Rooms are a little out dated but I understand.

The room was very spacious. The shower had nice hot water. Bed was comfortable. Microwave and refrigerator was convenient in the room. Only a few minutes to restaurants.

The side entrance doors stayed unlocked for anyone to enter. A few stains on the comforter. Couple next door were a little loud but they quieted down before I was ready for bed.

Breakfast was great! Better than I expected.

The internet on the one guest computer was not a strong connection -- maybe software needed to be updated. I eventually gave up on it.

The Staff at the front desk was very helpful

Some part of the Rug in my room was kind of sticky, they need to deep clean the rug in the room. Nothing more, i enjoyed my stay

The room was nice although it was listed as a suite so we were expecting at least 2 rooms.

Fridge didn't work and no one was willing to help. They offered to trade rooms for us but that would have been more of a hassle.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was HUGE and very nice. I slept well and I enjoyed the comfort of having a fridge and microwave!

I wasnt out of my room much. The only thing that was an inconvenience was there was no convenience store close. Clearly not their fault
