Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Airport South-Robinson Mall

The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. The room was perfect and actually clean! They have a beautiful property and its near the airport as well as all kinds of shopping and restaurants. They also have a decent sized pool and beautiful fitness room. Late checkout at 12pm on a Sunday was wonderful!

The pool was cold and only open til 10pm with no hot tub, the restaurant/bar on site closed super early and no snack machines. If you wanted snacks without leaving they have a nice snack bar by the front desk but be prepared to pay outrageous prices for $1-$2 dollar items.

The breakfast was awesomely delicious. The location was a bit out of the way but thankfully there were a ton of nearby stores and restaurants. So I guess the location turned out to work out.

The night time staff seems as though he didn’t want to be bothered during my initial check in. Also again in passing the following night, he barely spoke. The gentleman at our first breakfast appeared hesitantly pleasant and didn’t do much to explain how breakfast worked since we had paid for it along with our reservation.

The desk clerk was very welcoming at check-in. Had trouble using our key cards to enter our room and the maid was working at the hall so she opened the door for us and suggested take the cards back to the front desk and get another set of keys. It was discovered there was a problem with the door lock so he changed our room to another room.

There was a snafu since I booked thru a third party, the ladies at the front desk were absolutely amazing. They made my 4 yr old grandson & I feel very welcome. Room was clean and comfortable.

Nothing we didn't like

With the fear of COVID-19 instilled in us all, I found that the facility and the room was exceptional clean. Extra precautions were taken to make us feel that our room was cleaned properly with the added sticker/seal on the door after being cleaned/disinfected. Room keys had a place to return for sterilization before being reused. As a last minute decision to stay in PA, I feel this hotel was a great choice for the value.

The location was a little difficult to find via GPS, but nonetheless after two attempts, we made it.

The pool was warm and clean. Bed was comfortable.

They messed up billing at first but did get it fixed before we checked out. The coffee maker in the room was defective. And breakfast was not included ... I was unaware of the change when booking.

The staff was amazing, and so helpful with anything I needed. Room was clean and comfortable, and the in-room microwave was perfect for heating up my leftovers from Ditka's!!

Nothing comes to mind. You do have to ask for housekeeping to make the bed, due to COVID.

The person at the check in was not very friendly. Barely spoke to us. Not very welcoming. He was the only person at the desk so perhaps, he might have been overwhelmed. The hand sanitizer dispenser in the elevator was ripped off. It would be nice to be able to disinfect one's hands in high traffic areas such as elevators

Cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. Hostesses were very nice. Bed and room were quite comfortable and cozy. TV channel selection was great.

Snacks were quite expensive. $4 for a bag of chips I normally get at a vending machine for under a dollar??? Everything else was nice.
