Baymont by Wyndham Chambersburg

the front desk hostess was super friendly & helpful.

pool was closed & breakfast was not very good. i get there's covid but offering a better breakfast would be very helpful to travelers (fresh fruit, yogurt, instant oatmeal or frozen egg sandwiches you could microwave) would be great.

The staff encountered were all great. The breakfast was a good continental style breakfast. The staff were all accommodating. Quiet, however, friendly. The rooms were nice and appeared clean.

The heater/ac was loud. My guess is a fan problem that needs attention. Also, the pool and hot tub were closed. A lot of traffic all night being so close to highway. Slow drainage tub/sink.

Location just off the highway is very convenient. The staff was friendly.

1. Staff was friendly but their break location must have been the bench right outside the main entrance. Staff congregating and smoking at the entrance does not give a good first impression. Plus, it seems they would enjoy their break more if there were a place away from customers for them to go. 2. The stairwell had a strange chemical smell. 3. Hair on the bathroom floor.

It was easy to get to. Had options for getting snacks. The room was clean and had a hard worker as a housekeeper. The room was nice and cool, the microwave was really nice as well.

We did have to clean the one spot in the bathroom. The TV remote didn't want to work as well.

I was pleased overall with the room, cleanliness, and the staff was very friendly. I didn't have breakfast but there is a little vending area by the front desk with snacks and drinks which I appreciate. The hotel was very conveniently located off of I-81 and near restaurants.

It's not just Wyndam, but all hotels that re-brand: Non-smoking rooms that used to be smoking rooms still reek of smoke! It would be nice to have a heads up when you book a NS room and are staying on a formerly smoking floor.

Breakfast was convenient and adequate. Location was convenient and very accessible. Staff seemed determined to please.

Breakfast buffet ran out of paper plates on 2nd day, had to use a few napkins to heat a breakfast sandwich. Plastic tableware basket did not include spoons.

Breakfast was adequate. Easy off, easy on Rte. I81. Located next to a Cracker Barrel restaurant. Friendly staff.

Water pressure in the shower was too high. Also, there weren't any tissues in the room.

The stay provided us with a convenience. Ammenities at and nearby your facility were very accomodating. The help staff, especially the receptionist that assisted us with our check-in was quite friendly and hospitable.

We really have no complaints that we wish to make heard as it relates to our stay. Our Governor and state health departments are those who must be held responsible. Masking will not allow me out to travel again. Just not worth it.

The front desk staff was exceptional. Also, Marios, the italian restaurant, almost across the street the Baymont has the most authentic, homemade bread, and reasonable prices. How nice it was to end an exhausting day of activities at the reasonably priced Land of Little Horses in Gettysburg for children, activities in Chambersburg, eating at Mario's, and then immediately crashing at the Baymont almost across the street. Also the Baymont is located just off Interstate 81 at the Wayne Ave Exit.

The ONLY thing that I would have liked was to have a few stains to be removed from the carpet. Otherwise, everything was very clean. And in all my others stays at the Chambersburg Baymont. all the others room I had did not have any stains on the carpet. It is the best money saving hotel in Chambersburg and I always know that I will feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed when visiting my wife Nancy's childhood town.

The area where the hotel was located was convenient in many ways.

Overall it was just ok. They were not consistent with there prices, i noticed a disgruntled Guest while i was leaving discussing his bill with displeaure. After looking at mine I felt the same. There were things in the Room that needed attention. The kitchen was closed They had breakfast to go bags.
