Breakfast was adequate. The eating area was clean and neat I would suggest a second toaster and possibly a second waffle maker but definitely a second toaster this early in the morning and people were waiting to toast their Bagel or bread and the toaster was very slow other than that it was great people were friendly helpful was near many restaurants and shopping area and it was our first time staying at this hotel and I certainly would a book around again with La Quinta we booked the sweet which this time we didn't really need but would have loved to have done that on a previous trip where we stayed at a different hotel and we're extremely disappointed. But definitely disappointed for the price we paid not disappointed at all with La Quinta

I think I mentioned toaster needs . We did have a bit of a problem with the air conditioning it was extremely cold in our room and they were not able to turn it down for us and it was in the outer room we had a suite and so we ended up having to turn it off because it was extremely cold the management actually turned it off not sure what that issue was but we were quite comfortable anyway

Staff is super friendly Comfortable beds with cozy comforter and linens Location is soooo convenient for road warriors Water pressure was great Better than average free breakfast Pool, yay! Perfect for travel with pets as there is a pleasant and safe neighborhood to walk directly behind the hotel.

Crazy purple and orange color scheme LED lights everywhere, they are the worst, especially in the rooms. They are so bad for humans and the enivonment...

My son and I traveled for an annual music festival. Last year, our first year attending the festival, I booked Laquinta. I was very happy with it, so I booked again this year. I was just as happy this year and will continue to book each year for our september music fesitval in Shippensburg. Safety: facility feels very safe and secure. Well lit parking lot, someone is always at the front desk, very close to neighboring shopping centers, Cleanliness: everything from the lobby to the room was very clean. Staff were seen cleaning regularly Location: RIGHT OFF of 81. A variety of neighboring sholping centers and restaurants within walking distance. Staff: everyone is friendly, greeting us upon entering and departure. Check out time: check out isnt until 12 which was a nice little bonus given most stays end by 11.

The front desk check in clerk was extremely friendly. Ease at check-in. The rooms were clean, beds comfy.

The only thing I didn't like was the noise from the highway, as our room faced the highway. If you're not a sound sleeper, definitely request a room facing the rear parking lot. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

Staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The front desk workers made sure we had a pack n play placed in our room for our some during our stay.

The elevator didn't always work when we tried to use it.

Everything was fine ... loved proximity to several great dining facilities and very convenient access to highway

Took a while for highway noise to abate. but one doesn't complain about what is out of everyone's control. By midnight or so the highway noise abated somewhat and sleep was not a problem.

Breakfast starts getting put away 5 minutes to 9. Stayed 2 days and it was the same both days. Arrived at 8:30 most items were gone except the make your own waffle, which is always good.

The La Quinta was a perfect stop on my 20 hour drive from Massachusetts to North Carolina. It was conveniently situated right off of the I-81 corridor in a sweet little neighborhood which was perfect for me as I needed to walk my dog several times and felt quite safe walking around the well-kept area with my dog even late at night. They were most hospitable and have a very reasonable $20 fee to have your pet with you. I was very pleasantly surprised that not only was the hotel exceptionally clean including my room but also had a full hot breakfast available in the morning which is fairly rare even for more highly rated hotels nowadays. I searched quite a while to find one who's services and cleaning hadn't slipped due to the shortages in staff do to covid related labor retention issues. The desk personnel were quite accommodating as well and was happy to honor my request to move my room to the end of the hall so as to not be disturbed in the morning by guests leaving early, and the morning counter person even offered to hold my dog while I got a few things from the breakfast bar as pets are not allowed in the dining area. The rooms were nicely updated and had a large walk-in shower which was a pleasent surprise. The beds were also comfortable and the AC units worked like a charm! Although the hotel is very near the highway the noise was a non-issue as the AC unit provided enough White Noise to drown out the traffic. I would definitely recommend this hotel as I feel it is the best value going for the comfort and amenities as well as the feeling that you are quite safe. I will definitely be staying here in the future as I travel between Massachusetts and North Carolina several times a year and this is the perfect fit for me and my puppy!

Just wish the hours for the pool were different. I would have liked a swim before hitting the road.
