Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Chambersburg, PA

Cold rooms. AC is like ice. The room was clean and in good order. The front end staff was pleasant and helpful. The location was central to all of our travels. Parking is plentiful.

The housekeeping worker did not speak English. The language barrier was helped using Google Translate. The per day price was cheaper upon check in than on Booking.com, but because I used Booking, the worker was unable or unwilling to change the price and discount me the difference.

Staff was friendly and best helpful. Room was clean, bathtub was spacious.. mama needed a nice relaxing bubble bath! :) Big pool for the kids and a nice warm hot tub for mom and dad to relax in! Walls were thick making it quiet not being able to hear your neighbors.

Way too much chlorine in the pool and hot tub in the closed up space, set my son's asthma off horribly constantly during our stay, but being a kid he just couldn't stay away because that was the reason we booked a room close to home for a simple weekend getaway. Other than that, not much else to complain about except that the beds were a little hard and kinda lumpy. So if you have a bad back like the hubby and I, keep that in mind. :)

This property is very convenient.

The WiFi is unsecured and therefore our devices would not connect. we were placed at the end of the hall on the 3rd floor despite telling the manager my husband was disabled. we were right next to the Landry room and there was a foreign speaking man sitting on the floor outside the laundry speaking on his phone very loudly for a long time and on repeated phone calls. we could hear him very clearly inside our room. The desk clerk on duty overnight was scary as we checked out. He had his hoodie up and only grunted and never spoke.

everything was very well-maintained and extremely clean when I was there a couple weeks earlier there was a malfunction in the hot tub the part was ordered and when I got there this time the hot tub was up and functioning I was on the third floor and the maid that was up there was exceptional, very attentive as several times if we needed anything when we were walking down the hallway I was returning early from my trip and I called and they managed to get me booked in a day earlier so that I had three days there on this return home I was in the hot tub a couple times a day trying to store up heat for the rest of the trip it turned out this was done by the general manager who is a delightful lady ! it will be nice when they can get back to the full breakfast like they normally have but they’re not quite there yet i’m about to make reservations for my next trip and I will stop at the same place again

actually stayed there for four days over two weeks two at a time on each end of the trip on the first The hot tub had a malfunction on the second one it was back to working fine and very much appreciated stayed one day longer on the return trip than I had planned it with the general manager got us in and it was a very good stay I will be staying back there again on my next trip

nothing stood out as a problem I guess when they get back to the originally full breakfast once we get the rest of the way by Covid would be an improvement

Staff was friendly. Check-in process was quick and I was made to feel that my stay mattered. The cleaning staff I encountered were friendly and cheerful as was the breakfast hostess. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Hot shower with good water pressure. Breakfast was basic but fresh and oatmeal was hot. Check out was also quick and friendly.

The lady at the front check in was super friendly and welcoming! She also had a great personality, all of which are hard to come by these days! The pool and hot tub were great as was our room! We also loved the location and how close it was to family friendly activities!

Property was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was also a plus. I was also grateful that I was able to check-out a day earlier than expected (due to a change in plans) without being charged a fee.

I didn’t like that they charged an early check-in fee, either your room is clean and available or it is not. But to charge an extra $20-30 to check in early is a bit much!

When we first checked in, we discovered that the room had not been cleaned. The front desk staff were apologetic and immediately gave us another room.

They seemed short staffed and a little overwhelmed. I hope they're able to hire professional staff who want to be part of a team.

My husband and I have come up here the past 5 weekends in a row. Why you may ask? Because the rooms are excellent the hotel is very well taken care of. To add on to all that the staff is amazing. Alicia the manager is amazing. She has always been so helpful and kind to us. She even remembers our names. That’s really hard to find. Someone who cares enough to build relationships with the people that they barely know. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend to anyone coming up to stay in chambersburg.
