Super 8 by Wyndham Greencastle

The beds were extemely comfortable, the room was nice, the WHOLE STAFF was absolutely Wonderful!! The breakfast area was nice, the coffee was awesome! The shower was nice and hot and the only complaint was that the tub isn't big enough to take a bath lol. The TV has satellite channels so there was always something on to watch, the microwave and fridge was nice, A/C stayed nice and cool and didn't make barely any noise. There are beautiful pictures on the wall (I seriously want to know where they got them ❤) The immediate area around the hotel is very nice - there is a McDonald's, Subway, and a TA gas station that the employees there are also very kind amazing ladies. ❤

The only few issues that I had a problem with was the cleanliness of the hotel room wasn't very good, the areas that you could immediately see were Clean but behind the nightstand and behind the stand for the microwave and fridge were food crumbs, dirt, etc. and the windowsill had dead flies and dust on it. Other than that, the room was nice and clean. Also which Could Not be the hotels fault at all was the smell and the amount of flies that would sometimes get inside the room due to the Farm nearby. Again nothing the hotel could do. 😉

The gentleman at the desk was very nice upon our arrival. The 2 ladies cleaning our room were exceptional, so they both got a well deserved tip!

The site in the back of the hotel where there must have been a reservationists that was obviously living there. There were propane tanks, barbecue grills and chairs, that looked like a campsite! This degraded the property, thank God out time was on the front of the building and not the back. I wouldn’t have stayed there if I was given a room on that side of the hotel. Looked very unimpressive and dirty!

The cleanliness of the room and beds was great. The beds were very comfortable.The room smelled fresh and clean and looked the same way. Plenty of lighting, clean floors and air conditioner worked well on the hottest of days. Shower was awesome! Staff was friendly and welcoming. Will make this a first choice for the duration of my travel contract!

Nothing. The best motel experience I've had in a very long time

This motel IS America. Set just in Pennsylvania near the Maryland border it is right off I81, and surrounded by beautiful farmland. Typically, for U.S.A. no real restaurants near it (that I know) and a MacDonalds just beyond the parking lot. Gas station with convenience stores. The property is managed by a very conscientious and friendly South Asian family. They clearly care. There are nice flowers planted on the perimeter, and they have a raised bed vegetable garden right on the edge of a large farm tract behind the motel. If you are on that side, you see rolling fields and and the sunrise. On the other--the parking lot, interstate, and sunset. I stayed on both sides and noise was no problem in either direction. Hard working Mexican men stay here. They grill food in the parking lot and drink cerveza and talk at night. Not loud or rowdy, but just socializing and unwinding after a day's work. Then they get up early and head to work again. There are bikers, and families. I wanted a room with refrigerator and microwave so I could store my stuff and heat my meal and just stay in, not braving COVID. Both were excellent here: large frig. with working ice box to refreeze ice packs, and good mic. Bed was comfortable, good linens, and good shower. OK, room smelled a bit musty, but once a/c was going for awhile, it was fine. I had my bike and enjoyed morning rides through the rolling hills of the farms. Saw a Mennonite woman at 6:30am tending the cows. Came over a ridge to a breathtaking view of mountains to the west. This is America. Good value.

Location is good. Room was clean. Price was right. Dog friendly. A fine place to spend a night mid road trip.

Didn't love the sort of platform beds they have. They were comfortable enough, but too tall.

I enjoy staying there it's right next to many places that I do travel in Pennsylvania

In the bathroom in the shower The dispensers that had shampoo conditioner and body gel was out there was none in there I was glad I brought my own shampoo and stuff

We could park right outside our door so it wasn't so far for me to walk and no steps

The breakfast area wasn't big enough. And not much to choose from. The waffle maker or what ever it was,was broken. I saw no napkins at the counter.

It was very comfortable. The staff are so friendly. Great location.

That we get charged a fee but then get it back after checkout. It's terrible that people ruined it for others who have respect for where they are staying.

The room was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Customer service was great. The refrigerator in the worked so well that my salads got frozen 🤣😂🤣.

The rooms had a very strange smell. After spraying Lysol it disappeared after a day or so. I think it just could have been stuffy in there. This is a older motel.

Good location, next to the highway I-81. Standard room like in all hotels. Clean

Walls could be thicker, you can hear everything from rooms next to you.
