Beautiful Inn within a short walk of all shops and restaurants, gorgeous antique furniture throughout, amazing paintings portraying the Civil War throughout, very clean, comfortable, attentive and very friendly staff, convenient Pub right downstairs with good food and drinks, as well as the Federal Pointe Diner behind the Inn that served delicious breakfast and lunch. The Staff; Jesse, Mike and Maggie were awesome and helped make our stay memorable! My husband and I came to Gettysburg for our 17th Anniversary and I highly recommend staying here. We had a wonderful stay and this Inn really made the trip even more memorable. Thank you! 🥰

The location and building was super nice. The nice lady at check in time around 4 pm was so welcoming and nice. The bar and restaurant downstairs was super nice and the bar tender and waitress there were also really nice and made you feel like you were a daily visitor. As did the front desk lady.

Noise. There Was like 4 older men at the main entrance of building smoking cigarettes and cigars drinking and being loud from 10 pm until probably almost 2am. Also the air conditioning in the rooms aren’t the best. And you can hear other guests throughout the night. One last thing is the TVs in the rooms are awful small for the size of rooms.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Federal Pointe Inn. The interior is decorated period correct, and it's stunning with all of its antiques and hand carved furniture. The location of the Inn is perfect, with a great breakfast place directly beside it and within walking access of downtown, Gettysburg. They have a great pub inside the Inn, and the food is fantastic! The staff at FPI were so very warm and welcoming and very helpful. They treated us like old friends and made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautiful. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large, and the solid granite shower was very nice. Overall, we slept like babies and had a great time during our stay.

The only thing I can even think of as being a dislike would be that the Inn has no elevator, so if you have trouble with stairs, you might want to book a main floor room. We had no issue with there being no elevator, though, and we were on the 2nd floor.

The hotel is an old school which has been nicely renovated keeping all the old features. The room was really big, with high ceiling and very comfortable beds. The shower was amazing and the bathroom was one of the biggest we've ever had when staying in a hotel. The parking was easy, the staff very friendly and the location great allowing an easy walk into town.

The air conditioning was really loud. If you're not used to it, it could bother some when trying to fall asleep. Otherwise there was nothing wrong.

Gorgeous facility. Immaculate grounds. Huge room and bathroom. The bathrooms were recently renovated. They are gorgeous. Used the oversized bathtub with jets. What a luxurious treat. Nice to have a fridge in the room. Very quiet. Nice to have a noon check out and 24/7 check-in. We knew we'd not arrive until after midnight and it was no problem.

It's hard to complain. Perhaps a detachable / handheld shower head would be helpful. The shower head is pretty high and has no settings but the one. Still, great pressure and brand new so again, hard to complain.

Location was in walking distance of several restaurants and stores. Neat and clean, Pub downstairs and outside patio. Staff very friendly and hospitable, made sure we had everything we needed and even provided history on the building. Parking was located on site. Room was spacious and the shower had very good water pressure. All in all, a beautiful location.

Only downside was being an older building, no elevator or luggage carts but the staff provided help with that if needed. If climbing stairs is hard for you, this is not the place to stay unless you’re on the first floor.

It was elegant. I loved the spacious rooms and bathroom I like the afternoon tea and scones loved the fresh ice water. Easy parking. Nce, helpful staff. Loved that it was walking distance to town center

The rooms seemed dark at night. Needs extra light in the bathroom and maybe a light on n the ceiling over the beds or another floor lamps. Could hear the people above us walking. May have just been they were very heavy walkers.

The location was 3 blocks from downtown Gettysberg, where it has been converted from the George Meade School. My wife loved the high ceilings and the general feeling of the place. Be aware that rooms above the 2nd floor have no elevator so be prepared for that or make sure you have requested a room on a lower floor. The staff was extremely friendly and made you feel at home.

This a a beautiful renovated old school building. Our room was very large with two over stuffed chairs and a lovely desk. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very nice with good toiletries and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for visiting the military park and the downtown. I can highly recommend this property and would love to stay there again.

My husband and I decided last minute to book The Federal Pointe Inn as we went past it on a Gettysburg Battlefield bus tour. It was well worth the extra money in comparison to other hotels in the area. The staff was phenomenal, answered questions, made dining recommendations, and even led us directly to our room. The rooms and entire hotel are filled with Civil War paintings and antique furniture. HIGHLY recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a personal experience. It's not a large property despite the size from the outside. I believe there are only 23 rooms. It's homey and personal - the staff give 1:1 attention without rushing to take care of the next customer.

This is not a dislike - just a heads up. The hotel is post-Civil War built. The building was not there during the Civil War but was built afterward and was a high school, then elementary school, for over 90 years until being turned into the hotel.
