Good location, close to everything..even walked to/from the National Park several times..quiet, mature guests, delicious breakfasts, wifi worked, sold a few souvenirs, antiques everywhere..coffee sweets anytime..learned how to use that KEurig machine, rooms are inpeccably beautiful and a joy to look at, bus stops right outside

didn't know check in window was a few hours, stairs to take my large luggage, but that is to be expected, the trip to the laundromat is kind of long well with clothes anyway, no tv only in parlor & I would NOT turn it on,cuz might disturb the guests..entertained myself with my laptop.

What’s not to LOVE about the Tilley Pierce House Inn? It’s a beautiful historic civil war home that is now an amazing hospitality inn. It’s actually designated an official Civil War House - complete with its own cornerstone plaque. Our 2nd floor room was beautifully decorated and our bed, really comfortable! All of the Inn’s accommodations and amenities are well thought out and very homey - up to and including the cat toys left out on the 2nd floor for Binx - the ghost cat who is rumored to roam the halls of the Tilley Pierce. Finally, location - location - location! The inn sits directly on Baltimore Ave., minutes from everything you want to see when visiting Gettysburg. It’s a comfortable inn that is now our go to whenever we visit Gettysburg! Excellent value. Wonderful staff!

Actually, we enjoyed every part of our stay there.

What did I like? Absolutely everything (I mean, one of the other patrons was a bit ... odd, but you can't control that). The staff was amazing, it was a beautiful property, very central so you could walk to most of the shops in the area,the staff actually cooked us breakfast in the morning and cleaned out dishes. I also booked this hotel because of its paranormal reputation. I had originally booked one of the smaller rooms but to my astonishment, I was upgraded to the famous (or infamous) blue room, the most haunted room in the building. The staff have me a history for and I did an investigation that night where I communicated with the spirits of Tillie Pierce, her mother, and binx, the resident ghost cat (I had two experiences with him, both very welcoming and loving). Whenever I go to gettysburg, I will be staying at the Tillie Pierce house (though I would also like to experience cashtown inn at least once)

I was only there for one day. Also, the floors in my room were very noisy; but the floors are original to the house so they add a great touch and charm to it, so the creaking didn't really bother me (I loved the character of the flood and actually liked the creaking, just know that the floors in the blue room are louder than anywhere else)

Gail was wonderful, so friendly and warm. The Inn is beautiful and full of history. We stayed in the Fannie grand suite and couldn’t ask for a better room. We had what felt like a small apartment to ourselves. It was quiet except for some traffic noise but that quieted down and we slept great! Gail even surprised me with a piece of birthday cake and balloon in our room. Breakfast was good and she was respectful of everyone’s food allergies. No ghost sightings for us. We will definitely come back!

I wouldn’t change a thing. The Inn is perfectly run the way it is.

We had a delightful stay. We were greeted by Bob who showed us around the house and provided information about the history. We were in the Elizabeth Thorn room, although it was at the front of the house, we did not notice traffic noise. It was a comfortable room and quiet. It was great to have the keys and feel free to come and go from the house as we wanted. Great location right in the middle of Gettysburg. We were able to park right in the back of the house and walked everywhere around the town. The breakfast served by Gail was wonderful. We had a great time and even had breakfast with a special visitor, General U S Grant!! LOL

This was a perfect place to stay

This was a lovely historic inn with a welcoming innkeeper. The room was comfortable and parking was available and assigned. Breakfast was simple but fresh cooked and delicious. Gail came in early to accommodate our early departure. The location can not be beat, unless road noise troubles you over much. The inn is on the main street in the midst of countless museums, shops and restaurants. Though I have seen the Tillie Pierce House on a paranormal show, we did not have any otherworldly experiences so don't let the thought of ghosts scare you off. If it is a haunted location, and it could certainly be, it is not in your face or terrifying.

We were able to walk to so many places. Home cooked breakfast is included. The bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever had in a rental. We had our own parking spaces in the back, a privacy fenced yard with table & chairs, our own bathroom and kitchenette with microwave and mini fridge in this room, and 2 private entrances to our rooms.

The mini fridge was missing the shelves to place our items on and the bars on the door to keep things from falling off when opening. We made it work tho.

Breakfast was wonderful with a variety of items to choose.

Larger TV. Although there was a designated TV room that we could have sat in, it's not convenient wearing night attire. The tv in our room was maybe a 19" screen and with "old" eyes did not make for a pleasant experience. Television is not a priority and should not be while away on vacation however to wind down and watch sports it would have been nice to have a little larger screen.

Tillie Pierce house is a quaint and historical guest house in Gettysburg. The decorations are appropriate for such an old house. The bed was comfy and I feel like the sheets were very soft. The bathroom was updated and met my needs. It was easy for me to walk to my son's college and I appreciated that breakfast was included.

This wasn't a problem for me, but it could be for future travelers, my room was located in the front of the house which is on one of the main streets that go into Gettysburg. There is traffic on it even during the night so if you are a light sleeper I would try to reserve a room that isn't in the front of the house.

Great location! Off street parking! Decorative to Civil War era! Bed very comfy! Great shower! I stayed in 3 room suite called The Lydia Leister!! Wonderful staff!! Very knowledgeable about this house, the family and Gettysburg!! Other guests were very friendly! Ease of access! Lovely garden behind the house! Food snacks…kinda-semi continental breakfast with fresh pancakes. Snacks and coffe anytime!

It’s haunted! Lol
