Hampton Inn Gettysburg

The room was a nice size for a family of 4. The beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. It had a nice selection to choose from and the menus rotated daily. All of the staff we met were very friendly and the room was clean. We needed extra towels and the request was promptly met. We would definitely stay here again for our next trip to Gettysburg.

The A/C system in the second bedroom could use some work. It seemed the thermostat didn’t read correctly and you could hear water in the system when the compressor kicked on. This left the room feeling high with humidity therefore things felt slightly damp.

The room was large with a mini bar. We didn't use it but it was a great room. There was a great desk area to use our laptop to check our emails and signing in to the internet was easy. Also the breakfast was the best we have ever had. We have stay at a lot of Hampton Inns but this breakfast was truly the best one.

Only one of the elevators worked and it was at the far end from our room.

Desk check in was inviting and smooth. It was a pleasure to see staff that were there on my previous visits quite a while ago. They were gracious and helpful in every way.

Nothing really. The breakfast bar was great. I was surprised to see that fake yogurt was included though. Many people rely on probiotics to keep them healthy and yogurt with cultures serves that purpose. The yogurt served was full of sugar and milk without the probiotics.

Staff was very courteous and so helpful! Room was very clean and beautiful! Pool was nice, loved the soaps, shower was great! Will stay here again!

There's nothing NOT to like here. Staff are wonderful and place is pristine. Area easy to get around. Near shopping and Historic sites.

Truckloads of students swarmed the breakfast area which stressed the staffing. Fortunately they were all quiet and respectful. It was just a LOT of teen angst for breakfast.

This is an excellent hotel. Super clean, staff was amazing. It’s easy access to downtown and parking was convenient and plentiful. The hotel itself is beautiful and welcoming.

At first I thought MAYBE the hot tub because it had a ton of foam (like dish soap,not bubbles)that seemed somewhat excessive but we mentioned it and they said it was normal. We googled it and although not necessarily a good thing it’s not harmful. It was just weird to us, I’ve never experienced that in a hot tub. But they were helpful and it didn’t bother us too much. It would have been much more relaxing without so much of it. So other than that I can’t think of one thing we didn’t enjoy.

seems the staff is uniquely interested in their guests and their comfort. i poured coffee and carried it to get milk. it was extremely hot. when I returned to the table the cup had a sleeve on it the breakfast cook saw it was uncomfortable and met the need before the request. now that is the essence of hospitality

I stayed 3 days and the breakfast was excellent each day, with many choices available. The staff was very nice. The room was very clean. The view from my room was beautiful of the mountains. I was on the 2nd floor and it was very quiet. Really enjoyed my stay there.

Breakfast was quite good, the two ladies doing breakfast were so considerate and helpful. The hotel was quiet and peaceful.

The bed cover was very heavy. Too heavy. We could have used a light blanket instead. Also, we thought that the back door should have been locked requiring use of our room key day and night, not only after 11 pm.

We book the King Spa Suite ..very cozy with a fireplace in the livingroom, very comfortable king bed in separate bedroom & love the jacuzzi tub. There is a microwave & mini fridge. We live about an hour away & book this several times a year for a little romantic get away.
