Best Western PLUS University Park Inn & Suites

They met my handicap needs. I really liked that there was no charge for doing laundry. The laundry was only one washer & dryer. But it was located as far from my room as you could get—at the end of the 4th floor. I just used a cart.

They need to move handicap parking. Right now you have to open two heavy doors & use your key card. They could mark 3 or 4 spaces at the front of the motel as handicap. Then it is a straight shot in though a sliding door. I do not like your use of a 24 hr clock. The motel thought I wanted to check in between 4 & 5 in the morning instead of between 4 & 5 in the evening. I about lost my reservation because of the misunderstanding.

I wish that I could remember the name of the girl working at the counter when we checked in!! Pleasant, genuine, and sincere! My husband and I have had to travel quite a bit lately and the majority of hotel employees we have dealt with have been awful!! I know it is difficult to find workers lately, but still…. Dealing with someone who was actually professional was like a breath of fresh air!!! Thank you!!

For the hotel and lobby looking so new, we were surprised by how out-dated the bathroom in our room was. HOWEVER, what it lacked in style, it certainly made up for with cleanliness!

The woman at the desk when I called to say I would be running and wouldn't be able to check in until 11-11:30p was very polite and reassured me that my rooms were secure. The rooms were placed together as I asked so I was close to my family. When I checked in, Trac-Anne (I believe was her name) was very patient, professional, and polite...something you don't always see anymore these days. She's seems to be a great employee...smiles and all. Air conditioning was wonderful! Room was spacious.

Bed was noisy and I could hear people in the other rooms through the walls (sneezing, coughing, and talking). I didn't like that the bathroom door slammed shut with no ability to keep it in the open position. All morning I could hear everyone else's doors slamming as they got ready and left their rooms/used their bathrooms.

The room was clean and comfortable. I liked that there was a desk. It was a good size room, not too tight. I liked that there was a breakfast and the hotel was conveniently located.

The light at the desk was not as bright as those at the bed side, and I needed more light. The desk chair was too short but fortunately another chair worked fine. One of the staff at the desk was as nice and personable as could be. The other ... uh, not so much. My real complaint was breakfast. Everything was nicely arranged, but the quality of the food was not great. I liked that there was a choice of soy milk and everything was in good supply. The cost of the room was higher than other weeks despite there being no graduation in the area; not even the staff member could explain that.

Concierge was very accommodating and diligently worked to get us an accessible room. Room and all amenities perfect for the stay. Quiet, comfortable, accessible and easy to navigate to and from to local attractions, essentials like gas, restaurants and stores within a mile, hospital, airport, entertainment and public transportation. Perfect hotel!!

The only item that was not really desirable was two large charter busses parked outside my window until sometime in the middle of the night. Their engines were running and I almost complained but did not because it was late and I had to be up early. They had a low rumble in my room. I assume that they could park somewhere away from the building.

Everything I have come to expect from a Best Western. Clean comfortable room at a good price.

The WIFI was not available in my room, the person at the desk indicated that it was probably due to our room being so far from their server. Perhaps the hotel could invest a few $ in repeaters for each floor. I had to go to the lobby to get service.

The large cooling unit at the end of the hall was so loud I could not sleep. The facility was beautiful and very clean. Beds were very comfortable, however I slept less than 2 hours out of the night as the noise from the cooling unit at the end of the hall was unbearable!

The room was large, breakfast was good, and everything was clean. Staff are friendly and have a professional appearance.

Nothing too bad, the walls seem a little bit thin for the price, or maybe it was the other guests being loud.

Staff in lobby was great, Very clean and smelled good when walking in. Luggage cart readily available. Quick check in. Room clean. Coffee in room a plus. Pool a little crowded but there was a wrestling tournament in town so that was expected. Good breakfast and easy check out.
