The location was excellent! The access to the beach and a heated pool was ideal for all of us. The drink tickets that were given when we checked in was a nice surprise as was the free coffee. The restaurant food we had for lunch was excellent!

On arrival, the first thing I noticed was that the cleanliness of the floors was subpar especially in the lobby areas and going up the stairs. The carpet on the stairs was dirty with sand and a lot of lint, white strings, and some pieces of napkins. Three days later, the carpet on the stairs was never vacuumed. The carpet in the room was just ok, a considerable amount of stains and again some lint throughout. I was uncomfortable walking barefoot. The group that I was with all talked about what a nice place to stay but for the amount of money spent (about $460 a night), the place should be very clean.

The staff is really friendly. The restaurant and bar is top notch! Food is really good along with the service. And for being on the beach was really reasonably priced food and drink. Had us seated, served food within 20 min. Will be back again for sure best hotel on the strip!

Really isn’t much to complain about. If I had to be picky, They could use a microwave in the rooms to heat up leftovers

Having the hotel on the ocean was perfect. We had a small side balcony that had a view of the ocean. We just stepped out of the room and we were on the sand. Loved that they had lounge chairs if we didn't want to go to the sand. Have a restaurant with the property for lunch and dinner was a bonus. Having a pool was great though we didn't use it.

We had a room with two double beds. The room itself was small. It was a bit crowded with 3 people, but we managed. We were lucky to have beautiful weather, only needed the room for sleeping and showering. If the weather had been inclement it would have been a bit tight with 3 adults in the room.

The location right over the beach and seeing and hearing the ocean from our room!! The best part was the food we had at their restaurant! They were so top chef that we felt no urge to go elsewhere. Every lunch and dinner were the best I’ve had and I’m a foodie so I’ve eaten everywhere in RI!!

It’s a little hard to get around if you have some mobility issues, but it’s worth it to us to come here!

It's oceanfront and I had a 3rd floor room with a balcony, so I could see and hear the waves all the time. It's a beautiful and relaxing view. "Town" is only a few minutes away, and there's a restaurant at the hotel (opens at noon). Great service at the restaurant and amazing views.

I wasn't given a code to enter the parking lot and didn't know I needed one, so after I checked in, another guest who was leaving got out of his car and let me in. Also, the parking lot gets full pretty quickly on sunny days. My room wasn't serviced. I was in and out of the room a lot each day, so maybe that's why; it wasn't a huge deal but seemed odd.

The room and location was great.

It would have been a better dining experience if they had closed the outside doors. We encountered a lot of bugs flying around during our dinner. They should install some infrared plug in lights that trap the flying bugs. It really was ridiculous! We would have had more meals there if it weren't for the bugs.

The location right on Misquamicut beach was great! Close to wineries, shopping, Mystic! Nice restaurant/bar & friendly staff!

Apparently there was an issue with the booking so we couldn't stay in the same room for both nights so that was a little inconvenient especially since we enjoyed the location of our first room better & we couldn't settle in & stay put.

We chose Pleasant View for our Honeymoon two years ago; came back for our first anniversary and again this year for our second anniversary. We have already booked our stay for our third anniversary next year. We absolutely love this place, staff, accommodations and the food.

We have been going to Pleasant View for years. New ownership has made some nice improvements. Prices up a bit, but what is not. Location is great and staff helpful and professional. Would recommend if its in your budget. Look for specials on their website especially off season.

Exceptional location. Lounge chairs, beach access, balcony in room, pool, bar and restaurant with outdoor seating were all pluses.

Worn carpets, poor workmanship on on doors, failure to repair walkways, shower and foot wash for after swimming not working, no breakfast
