Bellissimo Grande Hotel

The staff was incredible. Very welcoming and attentive. The distance to Foxwoods was great! The room was clean, spacious and had a ceiling fan above the bed which was a nice added bonus. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but that was my only complaint. FYI for anyone booking for the Foxwoods shuttle, it runs every hour on the hour.

We really appreciated the fact that we could check in early (1:30 as opposed to 3:00) due to my partner's driving fatigue and swollen ankle (due to previous injury). The clerk was very gracious to do this for us. The room was comfortable and the bathroom very clean and spacious. The shower was strong and delightful. The parking was convenient too.

For the first time ever when staying in a facility like this, we were awakened at 2:30 a.m. by commotion from the room above us. Of course, this is something the facility has no control over. I was also disappointed there was no welcoming literature in the room, explaining locations of various amenities (although there were signs outside) and how they can be accessed. A menu for the eating area would have enticed us to eat at the inn rather than go out for dinner and breakfast.

Came here for an overnight with my adult daughter for a concert at Foxwoods. This is the third time we have stayed here. Desk staff is always friendly and acommodating. First room we checked into, while clean, had a strong stale cigarette smoke smell. We were moved into a different room right down the hall that was much better and super clean. Pool is very small and water was COLD! And there was a fake eyelash hanging out next to the pool which was a bit gross. Otherwise everything was super clean. Free coffee drinks (hot and iced) were a wonderful touch in the morning since breakfast is not provided here. nice to have a fridge in the room. Don't come here looking for luxury, but if you come for a clean room with a great location and easy proximity to Foxwoods you'll be fine. The hotel even offers shuttle service to the casino complex, though we did not use this.

bigger pool with warmer water would be nice. I would love it if breakfast were provided with the cost of the room or if there was a microwave available in room.

My husband is handicapped and we both have a hard time walking. Brandon at the front desk went out of his way to make sure we had a handicap room even though we didn't book one, otherwise we would have been to far away to make the walk. He personally went down to check out the room to make sure it was ready and turned the AC down to make us more comfortable when we got to the room since it was warm in the room when he went to check on it, I will come back to this hotel and recommend it to friends just on our interactions with Brandon alone!

The lobby was hot and stuffy but Brandon explained that the AC had broken in the lobby and hallways and it was being worked on. The room was very nice but there weren't enough electrical plugs in the room. The only plugs were the 2 on the clock and we needed more than that. Now that we know that we will just bring an extension the next time we go.

It was pretty good. We did not pay much, so we got what we paid for. We were getting in late and leaving early so we did not want to spend much and our expectations were not high. We had also stayed here before. Therefore, we were satisfied with our stay. It was clean and comfortable except our air conditioner did not work well on a very hot and humid night. Location was fine. The staff was not in a hurry to help. We waited 20 minutes to check in because the front desk help was on the phone. I understand they were helping with reservations, however, they could of acknowledged our presence. It took less than 5 minutes to hand us the key and have us sign paperwork. It seemed they either could have put the call on hold or handed us the stuff as she was reading the disclosures etc.

The room was clean and comfortable. The king bed was very comfortable. The mini fridge was a good size to keep drinks and leftovers in.

The light over the bed didn’t work so half of the room was fairly dark unless you turned on the bedside lamps. There’s a volume knob on the wall that plays music but you can not change the station, it would have been nice to be able to stream Bluetooth or something. The shuttle to Foxwoods only runs on Friday & Saturday, we stayed on the 3rd of July and it would have been nice to have a shuttle for holidays also.

I loved how beautiful it was. the detail. the lobby. the room was beautiful as well. had a more homey feel to it. the bed was comfy. in room jacuzzi tub was pretty enjoyable as well. the toiletries you get are great also! loved the body bar! although I didn’t go to it the bar in the hotel is open till 11 which is pretty cool. didn’t get to use the pool but wish I did as it was beautiful looking.

The jacuzzi tub maybe could’ve been a little cleaner. I wiped it down with Clorox wipes before hand just because I’m anxious and wiped up some stuff in the corners. A TINY MINUTE amount of stuff came out of the jets. but that’s to be expected and I tried to look past it. my only major complaint, was how LOUD the bed was In our room. even getting on it it squeaked like a 40 year old bed in your grandparents unused guest room. Anytime either I or my boyfriend moved it woke me up. but other than that everything was great and quiet!

The room was spacious and very clean. I was on the 1st floor and it was nice and quiet, close to lobby and service desk. I had a very nice walk in shower.

My only complaint was there was no hotel info in the room, things like where the spa/ pool were located, also no wifi info in the room or guide to TV use. I could not find info for ice machine and was not sure if a community microwave was available as none in the room.

I always enjoy my stay at the Bellissimo. It is conveniently located, it's close to the beach and the casinos. The drinks at their bar are also very good and you get a free appetizer with a drink purchase which I thought was nice. Although we didn't dine there they also offer dinner and breakfast. Typically I stay in one of the suites they are very spacious including the bathrooms. Their regular rooms are not as big but they still get the job done and their beds are very comfortable.

The only thing I noticed about the hotel is that the pool always has a lot of chlorine. I understand they need to keep it clean but it's a little overboard other than that I have no complaints.
