Hilltop Inn & Suites - North Stonington

The breakfast was ok. We only had coffee tea and cereal. I’m not much of a breakfast eater. We love staying here because our favorite restaurant Buon Appetito is right across the street. Also close to Jonathan Edwards winery which we enjoy

No complaints. We stayed for two night. We didn’t get maid service after our first night but she brought us towels

Room was very clean. Good location.

Bed on wheels, bed kept moving around. Continental breakfast, they stated it was a "deluxe continental breakfast", we found it to be average amongst the many hotels we have stayed at in the past. Bathroom door didn't close properly and was sticking so bad you had to hit it with your hand to open it. One toaster on a busy morning, long wait to toast an English Muffin.

Shuttle service to foxwoods only available Fridays and Saturdays

On arrival front desk was very welcoming I ask I they needed my credit card they said no already was charged all was needed was an ID and that's a pluss didn't have to go through the hassle going through my wallet and taking everything out. Love that they quickly informed me about the shuttle to the casino. Love that the hotel has a vintage side to it.

There's honesty anything negative about the hotel except the guess in the morning of check out. They had some kind of basketball team and they let young players be alone in the breakfast area un supervised by parents or coach and they where dropind waffle mix every where they even dropped the waffle machine. Just causing a disturbance to the hotel staff and the guess.

The rooms were clean. The front desk staff was welcoming. Great location.

The shuttle service provided was welcoming. On the ride to the casino, we were the only group on the bus; and we are people of colored. The driver didn't turn the lights on in the bus. But on the ride from the casino to Hilltop, other guests including our group were passengers and immediately upon entering the bus the lights were turned on. We felt discriminated because we were so surprised that the lights were on. Sensitivity to ALL people is a plus for your business.

For the price the room was quite satisfactory. The staff we interacted with were very personable and friendly. The breakfast they offered was good. The casino where we were going was only a couple of miles from the hotel.

Nothing negative to report.

Friendly staff, able to sleep w out any disturbance, it was nice and quiet. Enough room to move around freely, especially at nite, if you need a bathroom brake, nothing in your way. Overall it was a nice stay.

Pricey for one nite. It was originally book for 4 people. However our plan changed, tried to edit to 2 people since I thought it was going to be less expensive. Did not allowed me to do so. I asked the staff member about it. I was informed there is no change in the price. Then why ask how many will be staying in the room?

Breakfast room was clean well supplied and they even had hot waffles you can make! They had cereal. bagels, toast. yogurt, juice coffee, tea. bananas, and some other fruit. The staff was friendly and offered water bottles and explained that coffee and tea were also available anytime in the breakfast area as well as in the room. We were able to park our car right near the room of the first floor. They have a van that brings quests to Foxwoods Casino and runs about every hour until 2:45 am! They will be updating the rooms in the very near future, but they were clean and comfortable.

The toilet is very low to the floor and there was difficulty flushing it we informed the desk help they said it will be corrected and that they will be getting new toilets with the updating of the rooms.

The rooms are very clean and updated. The staff is amazing and super kind and friendly. The environment is what I loved the most. The building , the rooms ,the grounds everything was beautiful , peaceful and relaxing.

The continental breakfast was a bit chaotic. I'd say they need a couple waffle makers and a larger serving area or even move the waffle maker to its own area.There were so many people all stuffed around the waffle maker that you couldnt even get close enough to see what they had for options of other items because it's such a small area.It was uncomfortable trying to get in close to anything. We got as far as getting a coffee ( which was at the beggining ) waited a bit to see if it would be possible to get close without feeling like you were invading someone space or pushing your way through people before we gave up and left the facility to go elsewhere for breakfast.

First time staying here! I was nervous considering most hotels near Foxwoods are very expensive and this was good price compared to them. Everything was great though! Complimentary breakfast, free shuttle service to Foxwoods, Good size rooms with mini fridge and comfortable beds, All the staff was really nice.

First assigned to a smoking room Even though I'm not a smoker but I called the front desk and they were happy to fix that right away. I don't remember his name but it was a young guy with dark hair. We went back to the lobby and he changed our room so within 5-10 minutes.
