For a budget hotel, I give it 4 out of 5. The hotel has clearly had updates, and there was a quiet and respectful maintainace crew working on the property. The second floor room with the balcony was clean and spacious. It was nice having the coffee, microwave, and fridge in the room. The pool area was small but nice. The staff are all friendly and helpful..

The repairs started in the bathroom need to be finished. It looks like the small shelf behind the toilet was moved, and the plaster was not yet repaired. The bathroom sink faucet is also loose and doesn't seem to be tightened down fully.

Check in woman. Name tags would have beem helpful so I could have given her a KUDOS.Spoke to her early in the week and she arranged a1st floor room Price Location Multiple assessable entry points. Entry B should be revisited as the parking wraps around facility and if Land between A and C which I did was not fun taking that unnecessary walk through

Facilities needs some TLC. Bathroom has a broken soap dish with exposed prong which could prove dangerous. Should be relaced!!!!! Bathroom ceiling tiles frames needs a good paint job..the rusty discoloration is unattractive as people usually look up while using toilet. The facility is not new so there is expected wear and tear these small fixes would have garnered a higher rating. Vending machine only took credit cards. For a budget saving family, the service charge is not appreciated.

The property was located immediately off the highway and just minutes away from the major attractions of Mystic Seaport. The room was in great condition and the bathroom was in good condition. Everything was clean, doors were secure, bed was comfortable, and all electronics worked properly. At least three restaurants are walking distance from the hotel. The check in staff member was phenomenal and extremely friendly. Sound control was also noticeably good.

The towels could be a bit bigger, as the bath towel didn't quite go around an average sized adult female body.

After reading some reviews on here, I was a little worried but I am happy to say that overall, my fiancé and I had a good stay. The location was great. It was super convenient to everything in the area. Also, although we didn’t go to the diner, they offered us discounts.

Like other reviews mentioned, the walls are thin. We heard the room next door both nights. Also, during the daytime hours, the hall did smell like pot, which as nonsmokers, disgusted us. Another thing worth mentioning would be the ants inside, walking along the poolside.

The front desk was helmed by different folks on different days but both were top notch in their attitude and service - really outstanding and such a pleasure to be dealing with staff who serve with heart. Room was very clean - good size, comfortbale bed, strong wifi etc - thankfully we were on a low second floor and didnt have to lug our bags up too many steps. The corridor did smell a little funkly tho each time we stepped in - but that was not much of a bother as it didnt affect the room. Would happily stay here again if we return. Thank you for a lovely stay. !

Breakfast was a nice plus - tho there was hardly any option for me being gluten/ dairy intolerant. Could only have a coffee and a banana. But for those withour such issues, it's decent enough.

The room was clean, there were toiletries, coffee, tea in the room as promised. The bed (king) was amazingly comfortable (we want one for home!) Location was great.

The toilet wasn't bolted down, there appeared to be mold along the edge of the ceiling to the left of the slider and the outside door on the side was broken which could allow anyone access to the hallways, pool, workout room and front desk areas.

the property had a wonderful diner connected to it. and the mystic village was right across the street. also liked that it wasn’t far from the mystic seaport. building is an older one however the rooms are updated and we were very comfortable. you may notice a couple of things that need a little TLC but overall it’s a clean and comfortable place to stay. we’d definitely stay there again. the pool looked fantastic and they have vending machines that take debit and credit cards which is great when you don’t carry cash. doordash delivers to this property and there are many other local options for food and drink. the staff was friendly and helpful. we had plenty of hot water for our showers and water pressure was great. room was set up with mini fridge, flatscreen tv, coffee maker, microwave and mini safe. we were very happy with our stay and also enjoyed sitting outside the sliding door in the chairs provided. overall we enjoyed our stay very much and I recommend this hotel. we will definitely be back.

I can’t say anything I really disliked. our bathroom sink leaked but we told the receptionist and she quickly said she’d have it taken care of.

The property was clean. Beds we’re comfortable. Great location to everything in Mystic on a budget. We didn’t use it but the hotel offers a discount (10 % off) at the diner next door. The aquarium and a shopping center with restaurants is just up the road

The room smelled a bit moldy. There is a sketchy closed motel right next door. Didn’t feel comfortable going out at night solo.

The staff is wonderful. Facilities are clean and comfortable. Mystic Village and Aquarium within walking distance. Diner attached to hotel with great food and 10% discount for hotel guests. Indoor heated pool.

Building is a bit older so it's a bit drafty and the heaters can take a little tinkering with to get the right temp. Other than that, nothing!

more lighting in the room/bathroom, more towels, pool towels pool was a little cold…no one ever opened it until I asked at 630pm. clean up the outside of the patio, was a cup of used cigarettes in water on the patio…and the room smelled of smoke.
