Lovely old colonial building. Beautifully designed rooms with everything you need. Loved the bedtime treats of cookies. Very friendly, helpful staff. Really enjoyed the complimentary cheese and wine.

Only negative is the busy road that borders the side of the hotel and might impact a couple of bedrooms. Nice breakfast but would have liked better bread options eg sourdough. Also very strange tea options so bring your own teabags if from UK and like a proper cup ( this goes for everywhere in the States, to be fair!!).

We felt like the main characters in a slice of life romantic comedy. All of the hotel staff was excellent. Location is excellent, everything meaningful is a less than 10 minute walk; or a 4-5 minute drive. Breakfast was excellent, well put together a tactful selection of pastries, coffees, and everything else you'd expect.

This one is sort of expected with an older building however, the AC alone wouldn't regulate the temperature inside our room. It took a while for it to set to our room at our preferred temperature (70° F). We had to keep the ceiling fan on if we wanted to stay cool; which is fine although I wish I could have simply relied on the AC. I wish there were convenient parking spaces nearby; Although, the hotel staff's valet service was ALL-STAR, excellent.

Absolute dream in every way possible! Gorgeous buildings, beautiful and spacious room, incredible staff, lovely attention to every detail. I’ve stayed at several high-end hotels in Charleston and Zero George is hands down the best! It is one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever experienced, including my extensive international travels and stays at 5-Star properties.

The decoration, vibe and attention to detail is exceptional. The wine & cheese hour is an absolute treasure. Comfy bed, nice breakfast, welcoming staff, definitely best of Charleston. you can just sit on the veranda reading a book for hours.

hard to find something to say. the shower was a bit tricky - but at the same time you know it is not a new building.

The property is charming and immaculately kept.

A small pool would have been amazing in the heat but as it’s a small property I understand why this is not possible.

The hospitality exhibited by the staff was better than any I have experienced, and I have traveled extensively. The little things that they do say and mean a great deal.

Everything was wonderful, pleasant very helpful staff, atmosphere and breakfast was top tier. Planning on going again. 10/10 recommendation
