We upgraded our room to a much roomier corner room with many windows, walk in shower and soaking tub. No nasty carpet in this place! We stayed the previous two nights at the embassy suites next door and that place is very run down and the rooms are dark. The Dewberry staff were very helpful. The rooftop bar is beautiful.

The spa was all booked up. It would have been great to sample their services. We tried making reservations 2weeks ahead of time and that was too late.

Room and views were lovely. It was walkable to everything. The car dropping us at dinner was a surprise bonus!! We absolutely loved being able to check out the bikes, too!

The "living room" tables were always dirty when we'd arrive from a night out- lots of glasses and dishes left on them. Just seemed odd for a hotel of this caliber and price point. To be clear- they were hotel glasses and dishes that just weren't bussed.

I loved the decor and vibe of the hotel. the downstairs bar/lounge and the lovely rooftop bar with gorgeous views! The bed was very comfortable, very nice sheets and the Dewberry bathroom amenities had a lovely scent

I dropped a vitamin in the bathroom and saw hair and pubic hair that wasn’t mine. That turned my stomach. Service at the rooftop bar was very slow. My cocktail was served with my salad.

Loved the mid-century chic decor throughout hotel and in hotel room. Overall design was thoughtful and unique even down to the room key card matching the fabric on the armoires in the rooms. The room felt "homey" and comfortable like staying at a friend's home vs. a hotel. The bathroom was also well laid out and stylish design. We enjoyed breakfast in the "Living Room" as was not a traditional restaurant set-up. We also enjoyed the atmosphere of the rooftop Citrus Club. Hotel is a very easy, central location to King Street, highly recommended restaurants, historic homes, etc. The concierge was also excellent pre check-in and during our stay which was a refreshing change from other 4/5 star hotels we've stayed at in past year where it was a struggle to get knowledgeable, experienced staff due to labor shortages.

While we enjoyed having a drink at the Citrus Club our first evening the entire "process" of getting a pass to go up to the rooftop was pretentious. Hotel guests should not have to wait or request "reservation" to go up to roof for a drink. We had an hour before dinner to enjoy a cocktail and by the time we ordered and got correct cocktails we had less than 10 minutes to drink and enjoy them. As such we decided to skip the hotel rooftop bar after first night. And the bartender did not make our martinis as requested and when we asked to make them "more dirty" she was rude and quite dismissive and dumped them out in front of me even though I asked her if she could please add more olive juice.

Everything was amazing! Concierge pre set the room better than requested, dinner reservations were at “hands down” the best eatery in Charleston! I can blabber for pages but I’d rather suggest that you just take that leap and GO!!! You will not be disappointed!!! FYI… my wife and I only stayed 1 night and this is my feeling! Imagine a longer planned stay?!! The bed was TOO COMFORTABLE!!!

It was a spacious suite. The standard room was very small and not worth the high price. Hotel is centrally located. Staff was very friendly. The food was solid as well.

Pricing of the room, for the size. I didn’t like our extremely noisy neighbors for $1,000+ spend per evening, after taxes and other fees. Plus they closed today, when our flight was canceled, so had to switch hotels.

Luxurious hotel! Feels like you are walking in a Mad Men set. Staff is eager to help, rooms are amazing. And you can not beat the location. Worth the expense!

Wonderful services by all associates and exceptional immensities . Loved the Volvo program and being able to be shuttled around town in such a wonderful car - free of charge! Would absolutely stay here again! No question! Top to bottom was an A+
