Breakfast was great, plenty of choices and good eats to start the day

I requested a bathroom refresh at front desk and housekeeping never came. I had to tell the front desk later that night and get my own clean towels from the front desk. There was also what appeared to be a homeless person living in his van in the parking lot during my stay, he blasted music from his van at about 1:00 am and then one afternoon was blowing off firecrackers in the parking lot. Informed the front desk and was told "oh he's harmless, don't worry about him". Also the heater/air conditioner was not working properly in the room.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was pretty spacious and the mattress was so comfortable! The staff were very friendly and took great care of us! I would come back to this hotel :)

The only thing I didn’t really care for at this hotel was the breakfast. I’m glad the breakfast was free, but it was lacking. There wasn’t very many options. You have yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, pancakes, sausage, eggs, bread, and bagels. Nothing special.

The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast offered included fresh and healthy choices such as fruit, yogurt, granola, walnuts and muffins. There were also hot choices that included sausage and eggs. Coffee and tea selections were always available in the lobby.

There were 3 lofty pillows on each bed that were all very good quality. Consider including one thinner pillow in the selection so that lodgers can choose their preference for optimal sleep.

The late night front desk staff was so welcoming and helpful. They were so very friendly, even with my late arrival (10:30pm). The morning front desk staff, unfortunately wasn't as kind. She was so very argumentative about how I spelled my name. However, the staff member that was running the breakfast bar more than made up for it. She worked very hard at making sure the bar was fully stocked and everyone was comfortable.

Morning front desk staff was quite challenging about my name. She was very spirited about proving to me I spell my name wrong. Luckily, my positive experiences with other staff members, especially the young lady running the breakfast bar, were caring enough to be more considerate.

Everything about my stay at the Tru by Hilton far exceeded my expectations. Location, comfort, staff, cleanliness, room, breakfast, oh my I just can't say enough POSITIVE about my stay at the Fort Mill location. I mean to the extent that I could live there, that is how "At home" it feels there. When I go back to visit my son and his family, I will again book a room at this Tru by Hilton location - ease of locating this hotel; right off I 77.

I can honestly say there was not one thing that was a negative about my stay at this location.

I loved the clean and new scent. It is apparent it is new and thankfully is well kept. My first encounter was with the “British Lady”. What a breathe of fresh air. She was so personable, she greeted, socialized and check us in quickly. Breakfast was so awesome! See my pictures. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. I appreciate the little things. We came back from Carowinds a bit hungry, and kids loved the hot chocolate at 12am. The set up was still available- Coffee, tea and toppings.

Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, clean and new facilities.

0nly one chair in room with king bed. No microwave. TV channels not listed so always searching for current programs. No cabinet/dresser for short term storage of clothing. Inadequate hangers for towels (current policy is that rooms are not cleaned daily unless requested, so used towels need to be hung for drying). Route 460/77 intersection is undergoing reconstruction, and the unusual temporary traffic pattern is a risk for drivers not familiar with the situation.

Loved shower and amenities inside the shower. Nice TV.

Had a visitor through the heating vent. Daughter got a pic...when i checked out I told front desk personnel he tried to say it was an assain bug but I know what a stink bug looks like. This was brown...I told him I thought was a roach. He said he would have someone check the room and spray. Didn't offer to refund me or anything to help make up for it. Other than that it was a nice hotel.

Well thought out design and furnishings. charging ports everywhere!! how awesome. love the added extra touch of the shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc being provided in more of an environmental way than the small one time use bottles of most other hotels. love the pool table and game area in the lobby / social area. very inviting.

Hand soap, body lotion, and body wash containers were completely empty. appears cleaning staff must have overlooked checking the levels.

It was just ok

The king bed room was very small. didn’t think it would be that small. The complimentary breakfast was not good. Not really any choices for a vegan eater. Fruit looked bad and the bananas were almost all the way brown. It was Kid’s and/or an animal running up and down the hallway at 8am.
