Embassy Suites by Hilton Greenville Downtown Riverplace

Comfortable, check-in staff very professional and accommodating. The bartender was very professional and accommodating.

They started removing items from the breakfast bar 10 mins early. Evening happy hour did not add up to the usual Embassy Suites standard that we experienced at other Embassy Suites to include the other one in Greenville. We had problems departing the garage, therefore, we requested assistance by pushing the help button. The man that responded was very rude, abrupt and lacked everything a customer service rep should be.

Great location in downtown Greenville. Close to shops, Greenway, parks, and restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Pool and pool area was very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Lack of communication prior to stay. Made specific room requests. Requests weren't aknowledged, and in fact we were put in a room with exact opposite of our requests. The odds of that happening accidentally are slim. We also asked about the pool, and never received a response. It's one thing if requests can't be accommodated, but at least aknowledged and respond.

Great customer service! The hotel lobby was nice and the location was perfect. I enjoyed the continental breakfast. I would stay here again.

My room wasn’t ready whenever I got there to check in. The staff apologized and said they were giving guests giftcards to the restaurants for the inconvenience. I didn’t get a gift card. Even though, my room was clean, it was outdated. The bathroom, sitting, area, and everything else needs to be upgraded. But it was still a decent stay.

The Room was excellent 👌! We had a great view with a balcony! The breakfast is awesome with plenty of options to chose from! The restaurants at the hotel are delicious!

More options with the evening reception bar! The bartender kept pushing something she made up that was watered down. Also please supply enough cups for the bartender!

The hotel is just as beautiful as it appears in the pictures on the website. The ladies working the front desk this past Saturday evening 11/20/21 exhibited great interpersonal communication skills and made checking in easy. The facilities were clean as expected for a pricey hotel. The young man doing valet was very courteous and helpful with our luggage. Our room was just as we expected. Breakfast was a nice treat however, the wait time for the omlet was very lengthy. Not to mention there were no additional plates made available in the event I didn't want to wait for an omelet. I must say the young lady making the omelets seemed pleasant. Over all my husband and I enjoyed our stay.

The bedroom pillows were so soft they flattened as you layed your head on them. I had to keep fluffing them up while trying to sleep which was troublesome. The bar tender during what was supposed to be happy hour did not appear welcoming and I had to ask how her evening was going in order to get her to loosen up while serving our drinks.

Nice hotel. Staff at the front desk were very helpful. Great location. Rooftop bar was great, too!

The elevator left me standing on the 4th floor, about 10 minutes, passing up my floor a few times, until someone came to the first floor. Told the front desk when I got downstairs and they immediately had someone go check it out. Didn't have problems after that.

Loved the location to everything. We parked our car and didnt need it until we were checking out. The staff was great. From the front desk to the kitchen staff.

I wasnt a big fan of the bed. I think they should switch to a pillow top bed. And the rooftop bar/restaurant was great for hanging out or partying. But was not a big fan of it for the food.

Design in the room was bland and the parking structure looked like it was falling apart. You also share the parking structure with the public and another hotel.

Location and restaurants were excellent. Front desk lady was very helpful and nice. Signage to river walk could be better. Mildew in the shower. Cleaning staff nice but had to be asked to unblock the hall with carts and were very loud in the halls Perhaps it is simply a lack of trained staff. The downsides were minor and easily correctable with better management of the property. Up on the Roof restaurant was excellent.

The room was very comfortable and the location was nice.

The refrigerator in the room wasn't working and the wall mounted shower soap was empty. Parking from hotel to lobby was confusing to reach and I didn't expect a charge for parking.
