Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Dakota Dunes, SD

They were one of the only hotels in the sioux city area with an actual crib (not a pack n play). The Staff were very friendly and my 1 year old son loved them all. The breakfast area was always clean. Loved the hardwood in the room vs your usual carpeted hotel rooms.

The only downside was that the floor in our room didn't seem to be mopped. My feet were black after an hour of walking around the room. I always wipe down a hotel room With clorox wipes when I arrive but I didn't think to do it to the floor until my feet were already dirty. Other than that, the rest of the room was very clean.

Clean facility and room. Hard floor throughout room…love that! We had a king room which was pretty good size. The bed was comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful. We booked our room through Booking.com less than an hour before we got there and they had everything ready for us even though it was a last minute booking. Hotel was very quiet. Breakfast had lots of choices…egg, french toast, bacon, waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt, muffins with all condiments and juices available. Good location, easy access to freeway with a gas station and convenience store nearby. Parking lot was well lit.

My only complaint is that they use the small 1/2 size pillows. We have learned on this trip that a lot of hotels have gone too those. They did give us four pillows but they are still very squishy and you really can’t prop yourself up in bed with two of them if lounging watching tv. Other than the pillows the bed was still comfortable.

Comfortable beds, location, price.

Toilet in original room was not working & discovered late at night. Night staff could not help & day staff could not fix, but was able to get a new room across the hall as they didn't have maintenance until the next day.

It was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and great breakfast!

Not a big fan of the vinyl flooring. From walking to rolling around on the desk chair with wheels, we could easily hear the people above us moving around, as well as ourselves.

The motel was right off I 29 so was an easy on/off. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms and bathroom was very clean. The flooring in the room was not carpet so that was a plus. The breakfast was good with lots of choices. Hot items like the sausage, etc was hot not cold. We had stayed there on the way to our destination and wanted to stay there on the way back..Would highly recommend this motel.

A very nice hotel that clean, tidy and comfortable. The night manager was really nice when we arrived. The room was ice cold as the day had been hot and humid. There was no activity around which made for a really quiet evening.

The room was ice cold. We had to open the window which cooled the room but made the room into a sauna with all of the warm, humid air coming in. It was only a minor dilemma.

I liked the fact that it didn't have carpet in the room. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. I used my own wipes to wipe items such as the remote, door handles, etc down due to COVID and was very impressed that the items that I wiped down were very clean already. Traveling for work, I have come across rooms that are not 'as clean as they look'. I expect my room to be clean of spider webs, dirty vents, etc if I am paying more for a higher quality hotel and you exceeded my expectations.

From the front desk greeting, quick check-in, and knowledgeable staff. Nice pool, clean comfortable room. The restaurant provided a good meal at a fair price. The breakfast was good and the location quiet. I would stay there again if I had the opportunity.

Hotel was easy to get to, the staff were friendly, everything was clean, parking was easy, beds were comfortable, breakfast was great!

I can't think of anything. Could maybe use more luggage carts?

The room was very clean and spacious. I appreciated that there is a door separating the bedroom from the living room. I also like that the room had hard floor instead of carpet. It just makes it seem a lot cleaner.

There was only 1 packet of regular coffee in the room and when we went down for breakfast at 7:30 the coffee was already gone so only one of us got coffee that morning.
