Absolutely love the view of Mt. Rushmore from the lobby area. The rooms were great and the shower was even better. The furnishings were updated and gave a mountain lodge feel. Love the historical photos throughout the halls. The lady on nights at the front desk was so accommodating and nice. The breakfast area in the glass gazebo was amazing and the staff at breakfast were top notch. This place is a gem in the wilderness! Loved the firepit in the evening and even met some fellow Boomer Sooner fans!!!

Parking was a challenge but adequate.

Excellent location close to Keystone in a quiet secluded area. Distant view of Washington's face in profile was fun..Walkable to other restaurants but most would prefer to drive the 1/2 mile to town. Main restaurant at lodge was not open when I was there in October but an excellent hot breakfast was served for free. Included scrambled eggs, a meat selection, breads, pastries, yogurt, cereals, and waffle makers. Got me going for the day! Room was good sized and bed quite comfortable. Shower hot and good strength. Refrigerator was helpful, ice maker down the hall, and self service guest laundry was handy. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Only missed having dinner there. Will have to return in the "on" season!

Breakfast was excellent, variety of foods and drinks. Place was big and clean. Place was warm and dry as the outside temperature was 10 degrees and had iced and snowed the night before.

Was interesting figuring out the shower, the hot water was scolding, and the cold water was very cold, had to make sure you got the right mixture, but the water pressure there was excellent and ended up with a wonderful shower.

Our room was very nice. The resort is close, but not on, the main road, so it's quiet. It's close to Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. Restaurants and shops are a short drive away. I used the quest laundry which was inexpensive and convenient. Breakfast was good and a short walk from our unit.

If you stay in a 2nd floor unit, expect to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs.

We loved every minute of our stay here. Each morning we started with DELICIOUS coffee from the coffee bar and kindness from the sweetest barista. He was wonderful and I’m honestly going to miss his strong coffee each morning now! We ate dinner at the pub every night. the staff were all kind and the selection of food and beverages was great. We loved our balcony view to watch the rain and enjoy evenings. We loved eating breakfast and dinner on the deck too. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I’d love to return and will tell everyone to stay!

Quiet location away from the main drag of Keystone, yet still within convenient walking distance. The grounds around the lodge are wonderful to explore. Rooms are comfortable. Staff are friendly, talkative and on hand to answer any questions you might have.

Rooms aren't cleaned as standard on a daily basis. A distinct lack of a swimming pool. The gym is limited.

The breakfast was very delicious. A nice selection of hot food and cold food. I didn't catch the name of the lady that checked us in; but she gave us the best room in the house (in her opinion and mine as well!). The room was quiet and I really enjoyed the view of Washington's profile from the deck. It was the best night sleep I've had in a hotel. Ever. Hands down! Thank you to the lady (Steve's sister) who put my mom and I in that room!

I would have liked to see some name brand tea bags. IE: Twinings English breakfast.

View is amazing! A real breakfast in the morning. They have a nice walking trail and a fire pit to wind down in the evening.

They are more concerned about accommodations for foreigners - my own opinion is if you come to America- do as Americans. Why are American businesses making Americans change their diet, etc to suit foreigners? Foreigners are here in our house - they are visitors ( hopefully) and should be here to experience our country, food, and tradition.

The included breakfast each morning was excellent. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel location was perfect for everything in the area we wanted to see. We loved the hot tub!

An on site dinner spot with more then pizza to offer.

Location was great you could see Mount Rushmore from hotel. We arrived just in time for a snow and ice storm being from Alabama that was special treat for granddaughter. Breakfast was excellent. Water pressure for shower was excellent. Staff was friendly.
