Place was clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We found out that not all Baymonts are run by Wynham corporate and that was a reason we were decided to switch our stay to Rapid City from the "Baymont" in Hot Springs. Always call and check to see if the property is actually run by Wyndham and not just using the name by license. Rapid City location is updated, clean, and really proves they are in the hospitality business. Everyone at Rap City was great, they even had the maint person fix our mini fridge during the day while we were out sightseeing per our request. Breakfast is good. Beds are okay and room was very clean. It has all the basics you are looking for in a hotel, and was a welcome change after a terrible experience at another local hotel. Great job Rap City Wyndham team!

pricey but seems to be the norm for the area

It was right next door to the Watiki water park and where our group was staying but was 1/2 the price of the Courtyard! It was clean, food was good and the staff were very helpful!

Our tv was outdated, there was no way to connect to Netflix or Prime Video and we ended up watching our phones instead. Also there is no cleaning services unless you fill out a paper by9:00a and we were there to vacation and sleep in

Continental breakfast was OK, decent selection and hours. The staff was top notch - friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed, and had everything I would have expected for the price.

The first room we checked in to reeked of smoke - we immediately went downstairs and the young lady at the desk apologized profusely and offered us a different room for our stay. The second room was perfect.

Pool and hot tub were nice to have after a long day driving. Beds were comfortable though one squeaked a bit. Nice having breakfast available.

The breakfast area is not set up logically and was cause for utter chaos. I almost dreaded going down for breakfast because of it. Please rethink the layout and flow!! Also, the lamp in our room didn’t work and it was kind of dark.

They put reminders of the times when the pool closes or when breakfast is served. the front desk staff was understanding and awesome. definitely recommend Kristin if you need anything.

Housekeeping was kind of rude when coming out of the elevator they expected me to move when they were blocking the way out of the elevator. I had a car seat with my child on one side and bags on the other. the hot tub jets didn’t work. the pool was a little too cold for my liking. over all, maybe a 7/10.

Easy access to the interstate and Mount Rushmore. The breakfast was good.

The rooms need some updating. They aren't horrible, but the tables and chairs were all scuffed up. The easy chair looked stained. There was a hole in the bathtub, like where if you got too much water, it drained out, there was empty space. Other than that it was good.

Location was easy to get to and resteraunt's close by.

Nice big bed , but Itty bitty pillows. I was offended by all the "pride " decorations. Hope they do the same for the 4th of July. Women in our group DID NOT like ALL lobby bathrooms labeled as "all gender." Women like their own!! Probably will bypass Baymont on the next trip.

Close to the highway, and many amenities.

Had a king suite was told it was two rooms but it was a pull out couch right next to the king bed. It worked but was definitely not what we wanted when sharing a room

They upgraded us to a suite since they did not have the room type we booked available. They were actually full.

I am a coffee drinker so a coffee pot in the room would be nice. They had coffee in the lobby for guests so that was nice, you just have to leave your room to get it.

The room was comfortable. The staff was very nice. A pizza parlor had an entrance in the hotel lobby which was convenient to get to.

The pool was small and didn’t seem clean. There were towels for it but they were very thin and small.
