Days Inn by Wyndham Spearfish

I decided to come a day early and I was accommodated....

At the time of my original booking I should have been told this was a PET Friendly hotel....I didn't find out until I was checking IN and already reserved....I have allergies and I don't want to hear barking or animals. Booking.com is responsible for this. My expectation was flawed due to this. My room was clean.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Good shower. Sink and mirror are not in the same room as the toilet and the tub/shower. My wife and I have difficulty climbing and descending stairs = especially with luggage. though the desk clerk initially told us all king rooms on the ground floor were already reserved, he somehow got us a king on the ground floor.

There is no elevator to the second floor of rooms,.

The location and cleanliness of the facility were top notch.

The continental breakfast option was very odd. Had to order it through the front desk and it wasn't great. My husband had to order his 3 times as they kept losing his ticket. I assume they do this to cut down on waste and reduce the spread of germs, but there's got to be a better way.

Facility was very clean and very quiet. Staff was professional and courteous; breakfast was a bit underwhelming as the only thing available was bread (white and wheat), 2 kinds of cold cereal and pre-packaged oatmeal; coffee and juice as well.

It would have been nice if there were other options for breakfast (bagels and/or English muffins along with the bread) and some fruit.

Room was spacious and generally clean - carpet could have been vacuumed. Had a refrigerator and microwave; had access door from the room to the parking lot as well as to the main hallway. Was quiet, even though rooms were sold out and location is near the interstate. Plenty of parking available. Staff had towels and items available for washing cars for this rally. Bed was very comfortable, with plenty of pillows.

No housekeeping in a four day stay. Breakfast on the last day had no bread or rolls/muffins/etc., even at 6:15am. Rarely a staff person at the desk to talk with.

Denise at the desk was so friendly and helpful. My son loved meeting Bob the cat. Water pressure was *chefs kiss*. Inside and outside door was nice. We enjoyed the mini waffles at breakfast. Love happening upon family owned hotels! The little basket of blue wash cloths for messes was such a nice touch.

If I have to say a negative it’d be that the pillows were maybe a bit too fluffy.

I liked the size of my room and how clean it was. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were very nice. The location of the hotel was very easy to find and get to.

I wasn't too impressed by the fact that you had to fill out a card and hand it to the person at the front desk to get your breakfast was not very appealing to me.

Room was nice. clean. beds were very comfortable. we were in a family room which worked great. everybody had a private sleeping space.

my only complaint was there wasn't an elevator and I didn't know that when we booked.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room . Could park outside the room. Big plus. Had air cond. And tv

The mattresses seemed to be worn out. The toilet was to low to the floor for me. The door was out of line closed hard. The cieling fans were noisy.

We didn't take advantage of the breakfast because we had to get on the road back home. The beds were very comfortable. We had a nice stay.

I didn't like that you didn't have a microwave in the room.
