The breakfast was good and the rooms were tastefully decorated. The rooms were very comfortable.

The room had several issues including a slow bathroom drain in the sink, a broken hand-held shower handle, and the refrigerator was not plugged in upon arrival (I plugged it in and water spilled all over the floor from the fridge drain). Additionally, the rooftop restaurant had only bar food and in my opinion should have included one or two main courses for those who did not wish to go elsewhere for a full dinner.

The hotel itself is vibrant and eye-catching. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and venues. The staff is friendly, efficient, and go out of their way to be helpful. (which is why I am giving this hotel the level of review that I am)

The restaurant on property was not impressive. The menu offerings are limited and overpriced. Also, the service does not meet the price. There are “reusable” water bottles in the room which are nothing more than basic plastic bottles which you are encouraged to refill and use during your stay….? Tacky. I had to buy water at a nearby store. The only viable parking option is valet unless you want to park along the street, if you can even find a spot, and you are likely to be several blocks away.

The dining service on Sunday we've was a horror show......unbelievable for a high quality establishment. REduclulously long wait for a drink (12 hour) and the food was missing ingredients (no asparagus in the salmon "pasta" which was really a grain), so they finally brought me a side dish of asparagus. Ho salt or pepper available. Just a comedy of errors.

We spent the past weekend at this beautiful property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were courteous, knowledgeable and professional, the grounds were very well maintained and the amenities left little to be desired. Especially for a family with children the Aldeia Azul is a dream. The resort's kids club, playground, football field, mini golf course, swimming pools, etc will have your kids smiling all day and nice and tired when bedtime comes around. Five stars from all of us.

The hotel is in a great location. Walking distances to all the restaurants, bars, aquarium, parks and the walking bridge was great! The hotel smells great through out the whole hotel and the staff members where friendly and helpful. My only negative feed back was the breakfast even though the food was comped the hot chocolate was cold and the biscuits where hard. But overall the hotel was great and I would stay here again.

In my opinion the breakfast should be a lot better and perhaps a bigger selection when it comes dinner as well.

The location is exceptional! The hotel is in the Art District, right next to the walking bridge and the Hunter Museum. we saw dozens of statues in a mile radius. The Valet service was fast, courteous and unexpectedly knowledgeable about things to see, where to eat. The hotel's common areas were uniquely furnished and has art works throughout, including the elevators themselves.

My wife wanted a muffin for breakfast, which was on the menu, however, it turned out to be an english muffin. we haven't found the slippers in the room either.

I had been wanting to stay at this gorgeous hotel ever since I visited the luxurious Whiskey Thief rooftop bar years ago! It was a bit pricey, but well worth it. The staff was exceptional, and they immediately brought champagne to our room once I told them it was my fiancé's 30th birthday! Housekeeping did an immaculate job, and everything was up to our standards.

I would say the rooms could have a bit more space.

This hotel is like staying in a beautiful art museum. Everywhere you turn is another incredible work of art. We got to borrow the hotel’s bicycles one night and ride across the bridge into Northshore. We visited the Whiskey Thief and White Bird both - loved them so much. This hotel and all staff were a total pleasure to stay in and deal with. We will definitely be back.

The pretty nighttime pictures of the roof top pool area kind of make the space look bigger than it is and make it seem like you can go swimming at night. While the pool and two cabanas are very nice, the space feels tiny and night swimming is not allowed since the pool hours are only 11a-8p. We really wanted to use the hotel pool but didn’t get to, with our schedule.

When I booked the room, I included a note about proposing to my girlfriend that weekend. The concierge was amazingly supportive and excited for us! While I checked in and my girlfriend was preoccupied with something else, the concierge asked if I was nervous and gave me a supportive thumbs up/wink as we left. 10/10 Would 100% return!

This was my first time staying in such a fine establishment. My girlfriend and I were very new to the "luxury" experience. That being said, I could have used a bit more instruction or direction with the valet parking and procedures.
