Hotel Bo, a Days Inn by Wyndham Chattanooga Downtown

This is an older style but wonderfully updated Hotel/motel. Super clean common areas. This is a Loved the decor, which melded 50’s kitsch and modern style and convenience. I was half expecting Dean Martin or Frank Sinatra with Eva Gardner on his arm to come around the corner at ever turn! Haha! The front desk staff (Mellisa) was super friendly and very helpful. The room was so nice and so clean with the mid-century decor making it adorable! Loved the layout of the rooms. In addition to typical amenities, the dresser had cubbies for clothing and suitcase storage, along with hooks on which I was happy to hang my clothes and purse. The toilet and shower with a great room expanding, curved and very clean shower curtain was in a room by itself. I couldn’t wait to use the color-coordinated yellow hairdryer, which super powerful! Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to many restaurants with a beautiful view of Lookout Mountain.

Just due to the timing of our visit, the cafe was closed and new restaurant was under construction.

The overall grey an yellow theme inside and out. Pool was fantastic and also looked new and well cared for. Room was clean and well furnished. Staff was welcoming and helpful.

The soft full size beds were very uncomfortable for us as a couple. Both adults in our party left with a backache. Even my kids had a hard time sharing a bed without running into each other. The bathroom faucets are not appropriate for those sinks. The faucet barely hangs over the bowl. You have to basically shove your hands against the sink bowl just wash your hands. Washing your face would be a trainwreck. The occasional loud noises from the nearby road can be startling. Not within control of the hotel, but it sounded like a few people were participating in a drag race from time to time. Thankfully our room was on the third floor facing the pool. The 2 story portion of the hotel facing the highway would be much louder.

Melissa was awesome, she went over and above to assist us with this reservation. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent relative to the attractions we planned to visit; the rooms were comfortable, the ability to provide connecting rooms was a plus for our visit. The 24 hour diner on site was perfect for mid day and late night snacking. One hotel gripe of ours that was no problem...the hot water was consistently hot. Overall, we would stay here again but get king rooms.

We would have liked a microwave to heat up small food items for the kids; there was no bath soap included in the amenities; the hard floors were not particularly clean, had to do a bit of spot mopping as we got settled in; the double beds were fairly small, but comfortable, our fault as we should have booked king rooms.

For the price and location to be a "cheaper" hotel, it was fantastic. Would totally stay here again. It can be noisy at night but not too bad. We slept fine. Enjoyed the diner but it will be closing and moving to a new location in June. The pool was nice and clean. 8ft deep. They provide pool towels as well.

The parking lot is tight...All over town there are homeless ppl as is in any decent sized city. They will approach at times and hang around the hotel. Not a big concern but was nice to know about ahead of time. We felt safe with all our kids to walk, even at night, to the riverfront.

We needed a place to sleep for the night - we were just driving through. It's in a convenient location, not too far from the interstate. We could check in at any time of the night. Our room was available after our quick check in. While the room was no frills - it was clean, quiet, and nicely decorated. The bed & pillows were super comfortable after a long day in the car. The hotel is attached to a 24 hour diner & we had a wonderful breakfast there before we left town.

Parking wasn't secured (lot with barrier, garage) but we didn't have any worries since we were able to park right outside our room. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Location was close to where we needed which was great. The room was smaller than we thought but it was clean and comfortable. And we couldn't beat the price for the location!

Our room was unfortunately right above the attached bar. We were traveling with my 9 year old daughter who was competing and had to be up early in the morning. So being kept awake past midnight due to the loud music and yelling coming from the bar was a major downside for us.

Wow, what a surprise. Expected an older slightly run-down hotel. Instead got a apparently newly rennovated hotel with everything brand new and working as it should. Beautiful shower/tub, nice towels, microwave & fridge in room, TV that works. But even better, the hotel just has a cool vibe that makes it fun. Easy walking distance to downtown Chattanooga. Very cool attached open-air bar and a retro 24/7 diner on the property. Very nice pool although we didn't use it. Definitely will be our go-to hotel in Chattanooga from now on!

I was frustrated there was a 100.00 incidental charge I had to pay when I checked in that I was not aware of. I thought it would be refunded when I checked out but it wasn't. Called the hotel to ask about it and was told it could take seven days for it to show up on my account. That is an important detail that travelers should be made aware of.

I LOVED the decor! Aircooled VWs are the best! I restore them. (I need copies of the canvas prints.) Loved Wendy and the security guard! They were super helpful and friendly. The RC and Moonpies were amazing. RC is my favorite!

The morning clerk (incredibly nice) made me a key to my room but without verifying my ID at all. So, theoretically, anyone could have gotten a key made to any room. Horrifying. Please make that a more secure process. Parking was really tight. Had to make a 30 point turn (not 3) to be able to park my truck.
