the three bedroom apartment was just amazing, especially the bunk beds and kids room! everything was so cozy… I wish I could have taken my favorite throw blanket home! we could walk to so many amazing restaurants and activities. such a cool place to stay.

the lobby took some getting used to because it doesn’t keep the same hours as a traditional hotel

Such an amazing property! Beautiful three bedroom apartment (yes, not your typical hotel room) with two full bathrooms, living room, full kitchen, and of course … a ping pong table! All for less than a chain hotel room rate. The spacious lobby has communal finding areas (they do not serve food), morning coffee, tons of sitting spaces for board games, a pool table and more ping pong tables, plus a cute little bar. And as for the bar, this was not a typical “Jack and Coke” bar but a fully stocked with high end spirits and a mixologist who served up fabulous classics you would expect to find at an upscale restaurant. The property was so family friendly and had the lobby vibe of an upscale and large hostel in the sense it was big, open, inviting, and inclusive. We did ask why the prices were so affordable for so much space. The answer is that you don’t have a full staff with room service, hotel attendants, valet parking, etc. But who needs that when you have a fully furnished apartment? This was a fabulous find!

There was nothing to dislike. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer!

Very comfortable hotel, very nice staff. We enjoyed the amenities and the space. The beds were super comfortable, and we slept better than we had in days. There was a fully equipped kitchen and a large living space. The manager reached out to ask how we liked our stay. When they requested info on what they could do better, I offered some minor complaints that I would not have bothered with mentioning. The manager responded graciously and said they would address my minor concerns. I've never had such a proactive staff! It definitely shows this hotel is run well. We felt safe in the hotel in our location and it was easy to get around. As this hotel does not have included parking, finding meters and setting timers to re-up our payment every few hours was the only thing we had to deal with that was remotely stressful. We could have parked in a garage downtown for more convenience.

A neighbor across the hall had a dog that was anxious when left alone. The dog was barking incessantly and it carried into our apartment in a very disruptive way. The staff addressed it before we brought it to their attention. And we were able to adjust our air conditioning to keep the fan on and that helped block out the noise.

Fantastic location! Walking distance to excellent bars and restaurants. The hotels own lobby bar/cafe were also awesome. Really easy check in and check out process. Room itself (2 bedroom unit) was perfect - we loved having the shared kitchen and living room with our friends but each having our own rooms/washrooms. It was the perfect size, quiet, comfortable and stylish.

I was unsure about the parking situation - and the price listed on the BODE website is different to the price on the parking structures own signage (we used the CitiPark over the road!) We parked up Thursday night and left Saturday morning and it cost us about $30 - which is great. But there wasn't a lot of information available on this part.

Really unique accommodations but were perfect, clean, and quiet. The rec area in the lobby was fun. We had three bedrooms and two bathrooms and we slept comfortably. The location is a 5 minute walk to sailors and soldiers auditorium, 2 minutes to Tivoli theater and 10 to 15 to the river and other attractions near the river.

Would like check in instructions the day before check in. Doing it the day of is chaotic while traveling. Also, future guests should know parking is 20 dollars a day across the street.

Loved the space of an apartment allowing us to all be together yet giving each couple their own sleeping space combined with daily towels if requested and extra dish detergent and garbage bags when needed.

The bar was only open for certain days or hours less than a usual bar due to being short staffed. We wish they would have left extra trash bags in the can or cabinet so we didn’t have to ask or wait while trash was overflowing.

The atmosphere was wonderful from check-in, comfy seating around the lobby, bar area and game options. I love that entry to everything is based on your own personal code. The rooms are basically loft apartments with tasteful furnishings, comfy beds..we even had games and yoga mats in ours! Outside, the hotel is in walking distance to eateries, bars and other shopping plus you're not far from attractions such as the imax theater, riverboat, aquarium and more!

The location was probably our favorite part about this place. It’s within walking distance to various restaurants. We enjoyed the the bar (Dusk) and the coffee shop (Dawn) located downstairs. The vibe is very chill and laid back. The room itself was just perfect for our stay. it was spacious and clean. The check-in and check-out process was so simple. We appreciated the communication via text of daily happenings at Bode.

We would love to see Bode provide parking passes for the parking garage next door. Also, more luggage carts would be helpful!

I liked everything about Bode. Parking was right across the street in a parking deck that is spacious, clean and felt safe. The lobby was inviting with an industrial feel. All areas were clean and well maintained. The apartment was wonderful. We could look down on the street from the window in the living room. The kitchen was very clean and all appliances worked great. The air conditioner was a little loud but that was ok. I loved that we were able to check in by text. Eve was very nice and texted information to us. It was very easy to check out by text also. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay and I look forward to returning.

Great location, very roomy

The television in our room did not work. The front desk lady came to look at it and called someone but still couldn’t fix it. She said she would continue to call the maintenance person. Later, when we came back from dinner, we asked if she had gotten in touch with them, we were told that they don’t work on the weekend therefore we had no television our entire stay.
