The facilities were great. The breakfast had variety, was hot, was set up in a way that made it easy for people to arrive, get their food, then clear the area so that those coming behind them were not standing and waiting for them to move to the seating area. The location was excellent - and the parking area was great, considering that parking areas like that in the downtown area are pretty rare. Very valuable aspect to me. The check-in experience was super. The two staff members we dealt with on checkin - Theo and a young lady from from Guatemala - were SO friendly. The fact that she was from Guatemala and felt comfortable speaking in Spanish with us made my traveling companions feel like they were "back home and among friends!" Residence Inn Chattanooga Downtown has a great "face" with those two on-deck.

The cost for the stay was a bit higher than I would have liked, but then 1) maybe I'm not as travelled as I should be to appreciate this, and 2) this may have been a marvelous price in comparison to the others around. For me on this trip, the location was more important than the price-point, so at the end of the day, I was still happy.

I loved that it is located walking distance to restaurants, shopping centers, children's museum, movie theater, Aquarium, ice skating, playground, boat ride, bridge walk, ice cream shops and many many more! The breakfast was good also! Sausage, grits, eggs, oatmeal, waffles, cereal, muffins, yogurt, apples, oranges, juice, chocolate/regular milk and breakfast taco's!

They don't give you enough soap and towels. It was four of us and we had one bar of soap and three towels.

The people who took care of us were exceptional..... Cooperative in every way and such a helpful attitude. Location was great.

I have an allergy to animal dander. Most hotels have a floor or section for animals but Residence Inn does not. Animals can be in all rooms. When I questioned this, they referred me to their sister hotel, Courtyard down the street. Courtyard's ratings were not as good. Residence had a sitting area and full kitchen. When we arrived, we checked the room and it was emaculate.

The gentleman at the counter at night was the best. He made sure that we were comfortable and pleased with everything. We need more like him in this world. Everything was outstanding. Will be back!!

The only thing I would do is update rooms, but they are nice.

Perfect location!!!! Very easy to walk or catch the free shuttle to all the downtown/riverfront sights! The free breakfast had lots of options including gluten free muffins which really impressed me! Staff & General Manager were super friendly!! Will definitely be back!!

Loved the complimentary breakfast. Our room was clean. Loved having a kitchen in our room. Location is perfect in the heart of downtown. So many places within walking distance. Staff is friendly and helpful. Will be back!

Dusty behind beds and floor

Everything about the hotel was great. My grandchildren loved the room and then pool. The breakfast was perfect for them except they ran out of blueberry muffins, but they were happy with the waffles !!!

Can’t think of anything that was missing.

Breakfast was good. Location was very walkable to attractions. Great if you are attending a Chattanooga Lookouts game. I would stay there again.

Given the room rate I should not have had to pay for parking.

We loved our stay at the Residence Inn in downtown Chattanooga. We loved the convince to the attractions, restaurants and the river. Our 1 bedroom suite was clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful!! We will definitely be traveling back to Chattanooga soon.

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff was amazing each shift, always kind and had a smile on. The breakfast was hot and fresh and tasted amazing, kudos to the cooks! The bed was comfortable and rooms were very clean and cozy. Pool was fun but COLD

Pull out sofa had stains and was very thin. My kids did not enjoy it.
