Super 8 by Wyndham Lakeland

Everything has been great at this hotel, I've stayed there 23 times now in 2023 and I must say, overall it's a 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ hotel in my opinion. It's not perfect because no hotel is going to be perfect, because as humans, we are not perfect, so given that, it's been about as good as it gets in a value hotel, as they're getting hard to find in today's world. It's clean, it's comfy, the ACs all put out air so cold you'll literally have to turn them off 🥶❄️which is great in this Memphis summer heat, and last & most importantly, you have a roof over your head, which is always priced at a good deal compared to others around town, it's usually to me the best deal most any night. The staff is the best, they're all one big family who runs it, and someone is always in the office night or day if you need anything, arrive late, etc, but they are all very friendly, hospitable, and kind. They have a breakfast in the mornings in the lobby and there is a Waffle House next door that you can walk to and it's open 24 Hours so there's always something to eat and they have a washer & dryer for guest use on-site as well should you need to do any laundry. If I was to give an award for Best Hotel in the Memphis area, it would be the Super 8 in Lakeland, as it's aleays great at the Super 8!

I have no complaints really, I'm just thankful for this great hotel & it's warm & friendly staff, and for the past three years it's become my home away from home! I don't know what I would have done some of the nights I ended up at Super 8!

nice and clean

The guy during the night shift is super rude and unprofessional! they honestly get over because if you check in after 12am it’s considered a new day meaning my check is suppose to be the next day at 11am instead of that same day at 11am!

Convenient location. Affordable rates. COLD air-conditioning. Comfortable bed. Was kinda ify at first due to the bad reviews but gave it a chance to have my own reviews

Not enough pillows. No laundry detergent in vending machines.

Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The price was okay.

Too much concern about Covid still, no tables set up for breakfast; you had to take your food to your room. They also wouldn't let you come inside the lobby in the afternoon. This paranoia needs to end. They also have a drainage problem in the front area (during rain.)

The nice picture on the wall. I left my ear bud and they still had it for me to pick up.

Hotel staff was rude. No one was allowed inside. I was treated harshly told to give my personal card and ID through a raggedy night window. Same man cleaning the rooms then came to service me up front. Had to ring the bell a few times before i was serviced. I’m guessing he locked the front because he had no baby sitter. There was a little child on their phone up front. Customers could not enter but this child was in there playing games on the phone

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are always clean and comfortable.

The breakfast could've lasted a little longer. Some riff raff hanging around all the time.

Super clean and updated look of the room. Clean and not smelly like an old hotel motel. Everything works and not seeing peeling caulk or paint.

Parking lot got full but still plenty of space

Bed good, quiet. Everything in room was ok.

Outside looked dirty and a little scary. Outside halls were dark and dirty. Once in the room all seemed ok. Elevator dirty.

Everyone was very nice as usual.

The tv was messing up so bad. I couldn't watch it. But other than that everything was good

People were real nice and polite and even waved when we left. Also the room was clean

The pool was nice but could have been a little cleaner
