Element Nashville Airport

Everything was clean, beds were comfy and breakfast was amazing.

The pool was closed. Kind of the main reason we booked this property bc of the pool. I also got charged for items out of the store that I didn’t purchase as i never stopped down there, the gentleman at the desk did not believe me when I said I never purchased anything. Was not helpful and there was no manager on duty to help the issue.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms. I would totally stay again after finding that extra switch to turn the lights and outlet on in the bedroom. Will stay again in the future.

Not that I didn't like but I didn't notice there was a light switch by the main door to control all the lights, like the bedroom! I couldn't figure out why our bedroom lights and TV weren't working, when I tried to turned on all of it. I discovered the morning of leaving the light switch by the main hotel door that controls all the other lights in the hotel room and that switch had to be on to use the outlets( like to charge our phones, use the TV, or lights in the bedroom) we had all the switches on in the bedroom, just not the main one by the main hotel door. I think it was a gray switch for future guest lol. I felt dumb afterwards but I wasn't used to the extra switch to control all the other light. If with no power to the bedroom why staying we still loved staying at the Element!

Room was clean & comfortable. Nice, comfortable bed & pillows. Staff was very friendly & helpful! Loved that they had a chef that made custom “to order” breakfast every morning. Wish they had regular bacon or sausage other than Canadian bacon, but breakfasts were very good! The bartender, Lovie, was awesome!!! Very knowledgeable about Nashville & helpful in planning our activities.

There’s nothing we didn’t like

modern, clean, comfortable, close to restaurants, felt safe

there seemed to be a lack of staff at breakfast. The garbage was overflowing. The dish bins were overflowing, they were out of coffee for the duration of our breakfast. It seemed to be one person responsible for making the omelettes, restocking the items, and cleaning up. Too much for one person to handle adequately on their own. But, he sure did a hell of a job trying

First of all the Hotel looked very modern with unique furnishings, both in the Lobby and the pool area that you usually don't see at other Hotel chains. The rooms had updated vanities and shower was a walk in that could easily fit two people with shampoo and soap dispensers instead of the normal little bottles and wrapped soap. The room had a small refrig, microwave, two wine glasses (nice touch) coffee maker and cups (not paper), silverware, & a few plates. A Iron Board, & Iron which was helpful since we were in town for a wedding. Room had partial Pergo flooring and the rest carpet. Furnishings very modern with a very good flat screen TV hanging on the wall. Remote had a little delay to it but overall the size of the room was very big and the comforter and blankets on the bed with the pillows were upscale considering other places I've stayed. I would definitely stay here again. Not to far from downtown Nashville around 10 to 15 minutes based on traffic. Even though we are somewhat near the airport I never hear a plane go over us which was good. Our room had big glass windows overlooking the very nicely decorated pool area. Also they had a nice work out room with a decent amount of equipment for this size hotel. Considering I was a Hotel manager 28 years ago I know how a hotel should be kept and overall cleanliness was very good. Only had one issue from the elevator to the outside side door that someone had spilt there coffee and kind of left a trail that took a while for someone to clean up. Other than that the complimentary breakfast was decent and area was clean. Didn't use the small bar area with 4 types of beer on tap and standard mixed drinks but was a nice touch to have and they even had some soft drinks and beers you could buy in a refrig by the front desk with other little snacks.

The one side door to get in didn't work when scanning the card & the front desk clerk said the battery was dead in the scanner. When we went out and came back we just parked on the other side of the building so we could have easy access since we would be coming back late from a wedding. A small inconvenience, that I almost forgot about due to everything else was so good with our stay. We stayed two nights.

The location was great. Close to the airport, Broadway and all that Nashville has to offer. Clean and well kept property. Full kitchen in our suite was a bonus.

More breakfast variety. More help available at the desk. Many times I went to the desk and had to wait several minutes because only one person is working and several people are needing assistance. Beds were not made everyday. One day we were told by housekeeping staff they were too busy. On the day of checkout at 830am, the housekeeper knocked on the door, and before we could respond, as we were still in bed, she came into our room! At that time we let her know we would be checking out at check out time (11am). At 1030, she was at the door again, trying to rush us out. We didn't fly out until 330. I did let the front desk staff know when we checked out and they assured me that this is not how they operate and someone would speak to the housekeeping manager.

The room was nice. I really liked having the small kitchenette with dishes, microwave and small refrigerator. The pool was nice just not very deep.

I enjoyed the chef making pancakes and omelets but not waiting in the long line. Food was good and had a lot of items like oatmeal, cereal, muffins and fruit. They needed to refill the coffee so I had to wait.

The facility was very clean and comfortable. The pool was the best part.

The hotel itself was excellent. The only reason I didn’t give it a five star rating was because there wasn’t enough breakfast for the guests. I informed the front desk that food was running low and they said the chef had a system. He was clearly busy and the two front desk people did nothing to help, even though there were no cups or silverware. The breakfast seemed like it would have been excellent had there been another staff member to help with restocking.

Harry and Jason at the breakfast station were the most friendly staff every day - always smiling and willing to chat. They really made our stay enjoyable. Toni (front desk) was helpful with places to visit. Lawrence (maintenance) was always cleaning and also friendly and smiling. The location is close to the airport and central to many sightseeing activities. Coffee/hot water available all day in the lobby. Nice gym facilities and coin operated laundry on first floor. Bartender looked outgoing and friendly (we didn’t partake). Outdoor seating with a fire pit. We liked that we were apart from the overnighters and it wasn’t loud on our wing. Thank you for that consideration! Dogs are allowed. Landscaping looks nice.

Everything about Element was fantastic! We were happily greeted when we arrived. It’s modern and everything is top notch. Room was so clean. Great shower, bed was super comfy and soft. Breakfast was impressive with made to order omelettes (during the weekdays)Will definitely be back. The entire staff made our stay excellent.
